You have to get the inside plates of the helmet removed first, then the rubber visor spacer comes out, allowing you to remove the plastic lenses. Was a huge pain in the rear to do.
not correct to the return of the jedi helmet. The top round bit with the holes is black in the movie. That's why it was originally done in black on this helmet.
Dude you are doing exactly what I'm about to do, accept I'm gonna start by building up the helmet before I repaint. Thickening the sides and making the dome taller balances it out and raises the quality 100% I was wondering what paints you used.
Looks AMAZING for a black series Vader. Good job to you both.
You need to use the stand correctly. It's supposed to go at the back of the collar.
I got mine today and I’m in love with it.
Amazing job! Please, how did you remove the black lenses? Seems very fixed behind the rubber glass. Thank a lot.

I tried this high end plastic polishing process kit.
Didn’t work. I’ll airbrush it with gloss black.
Can’t believe how well moulded your lenses are!
Can you make a tutorial for the inside paint
The one thing besides paint that this helmet lacks is a longer neck, the neck of the helmet in the films is much longer than the neck on this helmet
I so want to get one I am a huge Darth Vader fan
Update: this is absolutely amazing I just got mine today
Which areas should be gun metal?
Entire neck area?
Upper cheeks?
Bridge of nose?
Anything else?
Thanks!
