      +Moon Seeker Nadal won 9 of his 14 Grand Slams on clay... He won 69 titles, 49 on clay. He for sure is the greatest on clay. Nothing less, nothing more. Don't forget Federer won 3 Grand Slams by beating Nadal. Federer's first year as a professional tennis player was 1998 and his first Grand Slam win was 2003. Nadal's first pro year was 2001 and his first Grand Slam win was only two years later, so they are actually pretty much the same era. You might notice: Your comment doesn't make any sense. Additionally Nadal is even younger than Federer. Nadal may have the best win/loss ratio against Federer, but as a top10 player he also has one of the worst win/loss ratios against non-top10-players. If Nadal himself had to name the greatest tennis player of all time, he would name Roger, for sure. Roger always names Rod Laver, because Rod Laver was even more dominant than Roger back then. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic won 44 Grand Slam titles together. They all deserve a huge spot in the hall of fame of tennis and I'm just happy that I've been able to experience the rise of these three tennis legends.

      L. Gyger What a fucking fedtard! Nadal and Federer didnt play in the same era wtf when Federer won his first GS Nadal was 17 years old and Federer 22. RETARDED FEDERER FANS ROGER PLAYED IN THE WEAKEST ERA EVER AND WHEN NADAL APPEARED IN OTHER SURFACES IT WAS GAME OVER FOR FEDERER. 23-14 STILL HURTS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA. NADAL IS THE ONLY GOAT.

    1) Dont read books
    2) Eat french fries and pizzas
    3) Dont be that guy who trains too much

    • @Amaan-
      @Amaan- 5 лет назад +31

      He didnt succeed at that time because he wasnt training hard, he said it himself. Around 2002-2003 he started training seriously, I dont remember exactly but I think his coach passed away, which really made him think about his decisions and he started training hard and seriously. And, thats when he started to succeed.

      Even if he speaks German and Swiss German, it took him NOTHING to learn those. He learned since baby. Same with English, it's his mother's first language since she's South American. The only language he's actually learned is French.

    • @jimnosnow4484
      @jimnosnow4484 5 лет назад +5

      Rokan za, Nope. Some people tend to think Novak and Rafa are better players than Roger due to the h2h’s but they are wrong. Realistically the odds are stacked against Roger the most in the big 3 because he is the oldest and his favourite surface (grass) only lasts for a month. Rafa has the advantage of his favourite surface lasting 3 and a half months. That is the only reason he leads the h2h with Roger. Roger leads the h2h with Rafa on hard court, grass court and indoors. But Roger is a victim of his own success. He was so good on clay that he was able to get to 12 clay finals from 2005-2010 where he lost 10-2 to the clay master. Roger doesn’t have a specific factor which helps him yet he’s still beaten Rafa 6/7 times they last played. Novak has by far the biggest advantage though because he is the youngest and only had to face injured Rafa on clay instead of prime Rafa (unlike Roger). So he really was expected to get ahead in the h2h’s, especially as he’s played them way more than they used to play him when they were in their prime. 29 matches against Roger since 2011 (Novak’s prime), compared to 19 matches before that (Rogers prime). 31 matches against Rafa since 2011, compared to 23 before that.

    • @rokanza2293
      @rokanza2293 5 лет назад

      Jimnosnow 4 that doesn't change the fact that they are better than him,should we just ignore the h2h because he's older or because his best surface doesn't come as often as clay and hard ones? You make a lot of assumptions but the numbers don't lie. I am not saying that what you said here does not make any sense, but I think you are a bit biased towards Roger, for example, you casually said that it is expected that Djokovic would have more wins against him , that is just a ridiculous statement. And even if it would be expected, it would be only because Novak is a better player, which you seem to not be aware of.

    • @jimnosnow4484
      @jimnosnow4484 5 лет назад +3

      Rokan za, No not at all man. I said Novak was expected to get ahead in the h2h’s because he played Roger 29 times since Roger reached his 30’s. If I was a pro player and played a top player 5 times when he was in his prime, then I played him 15 times when he was 50, who would expect to get ahead? That’s the same situation. They played 19 times in Rogers prime where Roger won 68% of the time. Then they played 26 times in Novak’s prime when Novak won 65% of the time. So, Roger can easily be seen as the better player.

Artefacts from Mayans and Incas etc. They made these things as if to say 'here's who we are, this represents what we're all about'. Do you really think Roger would want to look back 20 years later and realise that he chose just one film as his favourite when he potentially had more than one? I certainly don't think so.

      To a certain degree I concur. 75% of it is being born within the ONE percentile of his talent level. The other 25% is cultivated by a solid up bringing, good family and healthy social relations (i.e coaches and environment). There have been others born with his talent but were born in fucked up situations or unstable environments and never got to blossom their full potential so we will never know who they were. More fall through the cracks than we will ever know!
