Krajicek is one of the most underrated players ever. It was always such a joy to watch play. That forehand, that serve that backhand down the line. He was brilliant. For me, he was one of the best volleyers, ever, if not the very best at his peak. It was almost impossible to get the ball past him. His net coverage was superb and his 1st volley was almost always decisive. Great player. He should have won about 8 slams if injuries had not blighted his career.

This must be a beautiful memory a pleasant daydream for Lendl and a searing nightmare for Connors, Lendl was a great clay courter though even better than his 3 French Opens would suggest and Connors always struggled on clay it blunted his flat quick game but Lendl movement that day was incredible and he was totally zeroed in on his legendary grounstrokes.

Tennis today is much more athletic than back then, but I have the matches of Becker, Agassi, Lendl, Sampras, Courier, Chang, Edberg, Wilander etc. much, much better watched than the matches today.. somehow everything was much more balanced and exciting... Tennis itself has also changed a lot, I used to find it more attractive than it is today... and I thought the clothes in the nineties were much nicer than today. How do you see that? ☺️😉

This was the tournament that got me into Tennis. I ll never forget it. Connors and McEnroe ribbing each other was funny.

Los chilenos siempre hablando mal de los argentinos y nosotros calladitos. La verdad que tienen una personalidad muy socialista, osea son envidiosos y resentidos de por vida y de alma. El Argentino no tiene nada en contra los chilenos. Y eso que los políticos chilenos (No el pueblo) ayudo a gran bretaña en las Malvinas y aun asi nosotros jamás nos la agarramos con el pueblo de Chile, es mas siempre lo hemos tratado como hermanos como a Uruguay y Brasil.
