I have a soft spot for fj Yotas, as I have built a couple smaller scale. Watching your new acquired FJ40 in Smiggins Folly, just forcing me trying to recreate the one I am proud building , but in bigger scale 😅. Everything in Smiggins just looks better!
I fully agree and also why not inner fenders as there smaller 1/12 stuff is insane in detail. Wish they would start doing the same in the so called '1/10' they make. Either way,I still might pick this up,lol
@@brianwood9849yes FMS does offer a leaf spring kit for the FJ40. The leaf spring kit for the FJ40, mashigan and 1/10 atlas should work seeing how it's the same chassis. When I ordered them for my mashigan,I ordered it from fair rc. Last time I checked the leafs springs front and rear were sold separately and I think were under $25 each but it includes everything you need to install it minus instructions as for some reason they're not included 🤷
I own a 1:1 scale 1969 FJ40. Since this is apparently a 1971-72 version I have a few scale bones to pick: license plate on wrong side, no spare tire mount, front and rear seats dont color match and the hold on bar on front of the glove box needs removed. Also needs leafs, skinny tires, gray solid steel wheels and hubcaps. Also needs a hood ornament. I'd love to replicate my rig in this scale.
Yes there is a lot of oddities about this. Also the antenna is in the wrong place, there are no windshield to hood latches or hood bumpers. In an upcoming video of mine I give it leaf springs, skinny tires and hubcaps. Although they are black wheels with the acorn style hubcaps just to upset the purists.
Very fine and realistic ! Where did you buy yhe figurine and what sale ? how did you fix the figurine on the seat so that it does not fall during the crawling ? 😀 Where is the location of this viedo ? Nice place
Has Dollar General turned in any site plays yet? Im curious to see if the building will model the surrounding businesses or just the typical steel structure.
How is not true 1/10 a complaint? That’s more of a nitpick. Yes I wish they would call it like it is because it confuses people without a calculator. But I agree fender liners are needed. Mashigan had them.
FMS Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40!!!~~~ Very impressive! I love these kinds of crawler videos. Very beautiful location and top notch video editing! 🤩👍👍
Thank you!
Very nice run on the course
🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
Thanks for watching
For a big, top heavy, lower grade RC, it really performed really well. The details are fantastic.
Performance was all in my driving skill
While everyone was over at SBG watching Josh and Matt, I was over here watching you get mud on the tires and then something crazy happened.
Yes!
Me too!
Yes, yes! My plan worked! I stole 3 views from them. Thank you.
@@turksandjerps lol "3 views"
Make that 4,lol. This is the 2nd time watching this video, lol

Fun off-road action! FJ lookin good!
I love the new Dollar General sign!
Nice running video. I definitely want to get 1 but I'll need to get the leaf spring kit for it also, lol.
Yes leaf springs are mandatory. Odd they don’t come with them!

Now words can explain it nice like speaking to the ones who can't hear love the video's
Sometimes videos don’t need words. People should form their own opinions plus I have no idea what I’m talking about.
Epic running footage old chap, well done!
Glad you enjoyed it
Very cool video. I watched it twice. Love your art, man.👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
🖐😁hello from france

Oh, and the front seat is wrong. Needs a 40/20/40 split bench

Nice! I have a couple of old GI Joes that have been asking for their own crawler, this might be the one! Thanks for the awesome video brother!
They are 12” yes? Might be hard to fit and they would be oversized. My guy is a tad small, I think 9”. Somewhere in between would be best visually
@@turksandjerps ah I see. I was thinking the truck was bigger than it really was! 🤪
It's like driving a real car. Nice video😀😀😀🚙🚙🚙🚙
Thank you 🤗
Going to make a good sibling to the mashigan 👍🏻👍🏻 nice work as always!
Yes, they are the same scale!

The figure I bought on eBay. He is jammed in and held by friction. The location is my backyard.
@@turksandjerps Is it stuck and held against the roof of the car ?

It will have to fit with the surrounding historic buildings and will look like an abandoned outhouse
Perfect! Also make sure the redox is out of service.
Nice video. Especially when you hit the bonnet with your hands haha.
Glad you liked it!
Awesome video what size is your driver?
10 inches tall
Truck needs inner fenders or fender liners, that and the "not true 1/10 scale" is my only complaint thus far.

Great video, but I always like your commentary
I appreciate that!
Love the title. Lol
Tried some clickbait, lol
That was crazy
I told you it would be!
More mud = more crazy?
More mud = more mud
still waiting for the crazy happenings...........
You better watch again, there were super crazy things
What is the real scale of it? FMS isnt known for its math.
Comes out to like 6.7 so rounded up to 1/7 scale
