There are many consultant meetings and for some procedures is even a talk with a therapist required. Let people decide for themselves what they want. And for example I am not allow to fix my teeth because it is a beauty procedure it isn't medical necessary in any way I just want straight teeth.

This is such an amazing job! All the surgeon did was correct the problematic aspects she had with her nose without trying to change her race or turn her into some kind of Barbie aesthetic. Looks so natural.

@@callmemc6 Uh ... I may be confused... but yes, while the lower half of the nose is made of mostly cartilage, and supported by the septum, the upper half (bridge) is DEFINITELY bone. I had to have a septorhinoplasty after the BONE in my nose was BROKEN. Under anesthesia, the part where your otolaryngologist "breaks" the bone/s to reset them is called osteotomy... literally "bone-cutting" is the translation... they micro- chisel the area, like egyptians did the sphinx, etc...
The plastic surgeon did an amazing job making sure the end result looked totally natural and fit her face so much better than a eurocentric rhinoplasty would have
Might not of needed anything done, but as someone who also has a hook or droop to my nose. It's mega uncomfortable, and gets worse as we age. I find myself trying to hold my nose upwards a lot. I'm really really happy for her.

The surgeon did a great job. He toned down the nose , and kept the family features.
Her family feature was the parrot beaked nose. Now it’s ruined and she doesn’t look anything like her rest of family.

I love all sorts of noses. I don’t think anyone should consider a bump in a nose a flaw. My mother-in-law’s sisters have the same kind of nose and they carry on unapologetically and are so amazing. Strong and funny women. All five of them.

@@callmemc6 Uh ... I may be confused... but yes, while the lower half of the nose is made of mostly cartilage, and supported by the septum, the upper half (bridge) is DEFINITELY bone. I had to have a septorhinoplasty after the BONE in my nose was BROKEN. Under anesthesia, the part where your otolaryngologist "breaks" the bone/s to reset them is called osteotomy... literally "bone-cutting" is the translation... they micro- chisel the area, like egyptians did the sphinx, etc...
