- Asking someone for their name is easy, so I decided to go on Omegle and ask the question in 10 different languages. Here's what happened.

I love how the Americans usually only speak English but people from everywhere else speak like 2-3
Yeah 😅
Thats bc america is so diverse no one bothers to teach us any other languages bc we do tend to pick up basic phrases in at least spanish usually. I had to teach myself the languages i know (hebrew, ladino, yevanic, german, dutch, some russian, some spanish, aramaic, yiddish, french, and some basic portuguese). We dont get taught bc too many languages are around us so noone thinks to teach us (that’s the actual reason from an american)
lol thats because the country is so large and most people don't leave on the border of mexico or canada, so theres no real reason to learn another language. however plenty of americans speak multiple languages so dont get too full of yourself
Is speak five
They barely know English too even if it's their native language or even only language... and that's because US Americans don't get any education
"-I'm an American"
"-Sorry to hear that."
*nice*

that one there was a violation, personally I wouldnt have it
@@okyrev2541 Of course you wouldn’t, you’re an american 🤣
From what I know, and where I live, I wouldn't say I'm an american bro
LOL when he said waar is dat feestje I thought German sounds so much like Dutch to me now, and then I realized it was Dutch! No wonder I could understand the Dutch phrase immediately! And also, I think I heard kein problem, which sounds so much like geen probleem! I’ve been learning Dutch / Swedish / Norwegian etc for a few months, and I recently started learning new German words, and now I keep thinking that the dudes speaking German in some of these videos must be Dutch and speaking a dialect of Dutch or something, but I know it’s German tho, but it’s like I try to convince myself it is Dutch because it sounds so similar, and, they do sound very similar in a way, but the words can still be quite different, so I can’t clearly understand most of the German words yet!

4:18 Context:
Lithuanian guy said "molodets" - Lingualizer translated it as "youngster". This is translated in a very literal sense, based on the word's root meaning.
The context meaning of "molodets", in Russian and related languages, is equivalent to saying "well done" or "I commend you (for achievement so and so)". This is what people mean when they say "molodets", rather than the literal-based translation of "youngster", despite the literary difference involved.
