Just got a personal apology from Chris Haslam about this whole thing. He seems like a really genuine guy and I felt really good about where we left it.
I don't understand how nine club could hate on you? You're the most real skater on this platform. I don't know a single IRL skater friend who doesn't love your content. And those old trick historys are the best out of all of them. I wish you could make more!
The irony of a judge calling someone dorky for analyzing a trick, then proceeding to take part in a several minute discussion analyzing said trick is hilarious.
Ironic not for while he does that and we ALL know he is a skate nerd, he does NOT go that in depth with the tricks.... Swing and a miss.. Also they never seen the guy so I feel like they used nerd NOT in how he looks which yes (he does fit a stereotypical nerd before this GLOW UP I see going now; not that it was bad before) and so ppl see it as that, a appearance attack. That is even more lame or what ppl use Nerd as a insult for. I think ppl think they saw him and went for a appearance attack or some shit rather than what was done. Hell even Roger is a skate nerd...
Kelly has a way of piling onto conversations to kind of go with the general consensus. He does it a lot and I find it to be one of the more annoying things about nine club. He just has a very specific personality that tends to seek for agreeableness over every other trait. Years of being the sacrificial lamb in the form of a verbal punching bag will kind of do that to you too lol
@@KQKQ23 it’s called growing up in laguna beach being an amateur skateboarder his entire career while wishing he was really part of the cool guy club … most mediocre skate career ever
Nah, Rad Rat fans always quibbling over some dorky technicality, it's boring, no one who rips wastes their time on this stuff, especially without the self-awareness to realize how dry and nerdy (in the worst way) it is. For people who no one knows about or cares about to comment about Haslam, and how he is 'cheating' a trick', without a shred of irony, is entirely absurd. The big Karen energy of criticizing a master when you are a novice is going to rub any pro the wrong way. "Cheating" and "Haslam" were put in Rad Rat's title or description of the video in order to get more clicks and views, just because it's standard procedure click bait on youtube doesn't make it any less cynical or rude. He got smacked down, deservedly, and now is crying like a baby and quibbling some more.
The Nine Club is all about diversity and acceptance...except when it comes to a difference of opinion, then they make fun of others while Eldridge sits there and goes on lectures about anti-bullying. Brush it off Radrat, we all know you the man.
@@inkusaido that is true, Chris used to be sarcastic in the beginning and now they just suck everyone off I was just countering the "diversity" buzzword claim
@@RadRatVideo Publicity is publicity my man. Some people wish they would get mentioned on the nine club. Oh,and people gonna be on your side on this one.
Radrat is exactly the kind of guy that makes RUclips awesome. Aweaome and authentic amateur content that connects with enthusiasts on the ground level. Keep it up man!
Oh he was talking about you? Truth is, we were actually reacting to Chris telling us a story about an unnamed person who called him out. It could have been Frank Frankenson from Indianapolis for all we knew haha! Keep doing your thang RadRat!
You guys knew exactly WHO you were talking about.. But, i dont necessarily think any of your comments were unacceptable.. Ol' kelly tho.... It is what it is, nobody should be getting upset over words!! I get what RR was saying.. But, IMO, it doesn't matter how you kick the board.. A kickflip is a kickflip... Just bc you might kno a cheat code to do an easier or better looking kickflip doesn't change the trick!! Now, if the trick changes... Then obviously its a different trick!!😎😎
ayo Chadrat, fuck em. If they think surface level insults or jeering will break your streak, fuck em. You said it yourself, man: they didn't watch the video. If they had at least given you the respect of watching the video then there would have been a point of discussion - but no. They saw the title and thumbnail and made up something to fit you into their agenda. They're boring anyway, don't let it get to you. You're damn near hitting 100k subs. That's a lot of people who love your content so keep it coming!!
I don't think the nine club or Kelly hart were specifically targeting you, just the people who actually criticize Haslam for "cheating" at laser flips. They might have mentioned your video title but it's not like the title was very specific, so it is understandable how they could've mentioned it without even knowing the video existed. You have to admit the way the title is phrased is very common place on RUclips. This coupled with the copious amounts of keyboard warriors on this platform and you can understand how Kelly Hart can say what he said and not have even watched your video. To be honest I wouldn't think there is enough connection to warrant a response but I could see why you would want to make one.
They didn’t watch it. That’s the point. What they saw was the title. They had a dig at Rad Rat based on that. If they’d watched the video they would have known that he came to the view that no, Haslam doesn’t cheat.
But man, you gotta give credit to the Nine Club for proper interviews with the legends. And some of them passed away (Grosso, Huf...) , so that material is important. I hope they'll just get into things that are going on on another side of the industry and that they discuss more deeply before judging.
@@zibel5007 I see where you're coming from, however the Nine Club rarely ever truly interviews people in a honest way. They usually just talk crap about someone behind their back, but when they get on the show they pretend like they never gave them crap. Best case in point; all the Andy Anderson hating (mostly about the helmet and 'weird' tricks) versus the few interviews / appearances he had. It's why I really can't take the Nine Club seriously anymore.
@@PHeMoX Agreed. But I would like to add something. In my opinion the 9 club is more like an "elitist" club. Their sorta like "If you're not bad ass enough or good enough or cool enough you can't be on our show/hang with us" There's a reason it's called the 9 club. This is a solid example of that for sure. Also there used to be a skate shop I went to but their pretty elitist too if you're not skating 6 sets and stuff they don't give you respect in the shop so I went to a different shop where they have more respect. I swear some skaters out there are unbelievable toxic towards other skateboarders.
@@lca89 yeah dude. There is now a lot of “jocks” in the skateboard world. Sometimes when I’m watching the 9 it feels like I’m standing outside in the cold looking in a window while the Nine clubbers are inside having a frat get-together.
The 9 club has the tendency to be over supportive of their guests, rather than looking at certain topics objectively and critiquing things, like you do. Kelly, being a skateboarding super fan, is especially guilty of this, even more so when the guest is someone he admired growing up. They clearly haven't watched your video and probably don't know who you are, so I wouldn't take it too personal.
I feel that. They don't really like confrontation or arguments with their guests while the show is running. Id like them to all be more objective...I feel they all are too nice. I also don't think they are mean and bully others in any way.
This is very well addressed. I get the feeling the things they said were mainly directed at the idea of people saying Haslam IS cheating, and if they were specifically thinking of you, they definitely hadn't watched the video and made an assumption about you. I hope they catch wind of this video and realise the error in their judgement if it was directed at you. I do think those dudes generally make an effort to demonstrate all the good parts of skateboarding culture and they're not about divisiveness and putting others down.
Note To Self: This.. This is how you summarize what's going on. Don't come off unhinged going all in on people like I did. Especially ppl reaching who are actually pretending the Nerd word is actually like the other word that starts with a N... That's the reallllll "N" word nowadays apparently guys 🤣🤣🥴😬 That' was lightwork for what they were lead to believe was the case.
I love to see tricks getting broken down without the mystique. It reveals the real techniques behind things and makes it all so much easier to learn when you know the real deal.
So you're a youtuber who used a clickbait title and then got bent out of shape when people took it at face value? What exactly do you suppose clickbait really contributes to the narrative? surely you understand this, because you use it as a tool to attract attention to your videos. you're an intelligent fellow but you're taking it personally when they are annoyed with your content, without even calling you out by name. you're annoyed that commenters are coming for you and mentioning that they threw shade, while haslam (and the nine club crew) are probably annoyed if their comments are full of people reacting to your misleading clickbait that is essentially casting doubt on his ability which makes up his entire career. You're both doing the same thing, but the difference is that you're looking to be given a token of respect in response to a misunderstanding that you are basically entirely responsible for. you purport that it matters that "at the end of my video i concluded that it was all fine", and that is fair enough to say, but you literally know better. everybody who is aware of your video has read the thumbnail, but not everybody has watched the video.
Hey man I hope you don’t take it to heart. I give you a lot of credit for the thoroughness of your research and for providing a resource for those who want to learn more about skateboarding and it’s history. That said, I’m 41 and started skating in ‘87, so I’ve lived through and experienced firsthand a lot of the eras you’ve researched and one thing that’s missing is an appreciation for the way the skate community has changed and evolved over the course of the last 30 years. The guys on the Nine Club are from an era where shit-talking was just a part of the culture and the Internet wasn’t a platform with its own distinct skate community and culture. Notice that on their show they speak of people like Aaron Kyro and Johnny Giger as almost outsiders to the skate culture they’re a part of. There’s been a shift happening for a long time now and your legacy as a contributor to skate culture will be remembered fondly by the many you’ve stoked out with your content. And in another 20 years you’ll still love skating and may feel disconnected from whatever’s happening in 2041! In the end skateboarding is a life-long love so just savor it and let the negativity evaporate.
People in theses comment are crazy. The 9club does not hate this man. That is stupid! I get that he felt "attacked" but he really wasn't. So stop all the hate dudes.
Put it this way, I've skated my whole life. I'm 30 now. After going through all the major skate channels on RUclips, this is the only one I still watch. Fuck 9 club, fuck Braille, fuck skateline, fuck any channel that isn't doing it independently, from home with no corporate sponsorship or direction. That's what RUclips is about. I still remember the days before RUclips channels had huge corporate money behind them and they were better days. Thank you Rad the Ratboy for keeping the spirit alive.
Don’t take it so personal dude. I had no idea they were talking about you, they clearly took your video out of context. My impression from Kelly at the time of watching the nine club episode, it felt to me like he thought someone (you) was directly calling out Haslam for being a cheater (which I would also think is lame). You clearly have a passion for skateboarding like a lot of us and I enjoy your content!
That's the problem though, they do that in a lot of interviews or just content reviews. They don't seem to give a lot of shit about content or context.
Haslam sounds like a great guy, and he didn’t owe you an apology at all, he never insulted you. Kelly had no idea he was even talking about you, he was just making fun of the phrase “does haslam cheat laser flips” which is understandable because there is no such thing as cheating in skateboarding (except in a game of skate)
I can appreciate your level headed informative response. As for Kelly Hart calling you a dork... That's the pot calling the kettle black if I ever heard of it.
@@axel.lessio “dorks” plural. Haslam brought up the title of that video, Kelly was literally responding to the concept of that title and the people who legitimately care that he “cheats” his laser flips. Did you watch more than the two segmented clips that were put in this video?
I appreciate that you touched on the clickbait aspect of it. Putting CHEAT in the title is a good way to get people to watch your video, but can be misleading to anyone who doesn’t actually watch it.
This and how they dog Andy Anderson by being more concerned about his helmet then his skating shows a lack of resolve on Nines' part. I hope Rad Rat's efforts to document and distinguish between the historic as well as ever increasing number of similar tricks are someday appreciated to the level of his attention to detail and commitment.
Sometimes people react that way in order to show they are defending someone. Hart probably hasn't seen the video, it looks like he was annoyed that someone would accuse Haslam of "cheating". Hopefully just a misunderstanding. And, if not, who cares, keep doing your thing.
I think this is accurate. Analysing the clips of a skateboarding pioneer from years ago would ve been no problem at all, if it wasnt "just" to find out if he was cheating. Its about the accusation not the actual video.
Glad you made this response! I was kind of shocked when they started talking about this. Honestly, all they had to do was pull the video up, and that would clear everything up. I rewatched it right away because I didn't remember you disrespecting Haslam at all during the original video-and you didn't. Keep up the great content
He didn't disrespect Haslam, but the dude outs a clickbait title to get views and doesn't realize it welcome scrutiny to put up clickbait. And then when he gets called out for it he can't handle it. This dude is wack
@@evanpiedrahita7378 I thought he handled it very well. This guy covers a lot of skate related topics and it's almost always informative, never a hot take or ill will to anyone or anything. That clickbait title skews things. Cheating isn't a good word to use. Not a good word to use along with someone's name. After watching the video I can see the connection for the title but I think he should've titled something else. I wish you didn't think that this dude is wack. I couldn't pick a better person to run a channel like this.
@@travo85 exactly. We agree the clickbait title is not how to approach it when you really want to have a reputable channel. Almost no nine club listening know what this lame account is and still don't care. The video itself doesn't matter because the title is already doing enough to set the tone. Sure there isn't anyone better to run the channel because its his channel, but that doesn't make it a good channel. As long as he makes desperate shots in titles of videos, new listeners will see it as wack. Even the response title is dumb because the nine club doesn't care to hear the opinion. The title "does Chris Haslam cheat on Lazer flips" is plenty wack
Skaters acting like they're in the "cool kids club" and calling other skaters "dork" it's so far removed from skate culture roots.. keep up the great work and ignore them
Skateboarding been hella clique-ish for decades. How long had the term "poser" been used? I skated in the late 80s and all the skaters had to have the same wardrobe and attitude to be accepted. I remember my friends learning trick and tackling new obstacles and I wasn't able to keep up. I still enjoyed skating but people started calling me a poser so I quit.
Don’t sweat it dude :) You’ve just grown out of ‘the scene’. When Thrasher started showing butt chugging in the kotr vids and the street league started taking off, I decided meh the skate scene isn’t for me anymore. You don’t need it to go outside, stand on your board, and enjoy the experience of the activity called skateboarding :)
I met Chris Haslam back in 2008, I might've been 13 at the time but I found him to just be an overall nice guy. I felt like it was me meeting my childhood hero.
Kelly Hart calling someone a dork. At a table full of dorks, he actually stands out. Roger Bagley is the coolest one and he suffers from debilitating anxiety over his dorkiness. Don’t get me started on Chris Roberts calling someone stupid. There could be a comp of stuff that’s gone over his head.
Most informative man in the community! I'm glad you're providing evidence of what really happened and I'm glad your name got some outreach. Keep providing us with the best content radrat!
Skateboarding is all about expressing yourself. It should never get to the point of argument. Skateboarding is supposed to be about having fun. Remember?
Stop! "That is dork" not "he is a dork" ... They NEVER insulted anybody.!!!!Kelly just called the ACT of calling out Haslams trick as being something "dork" to do. Not you as a person. Cant a homie express his opinion. NOBODY ever argued against your reasoning.
Or the reality is they were mislead and hating on someone who was NOT making positive vibes but attacking chris haslam... Come on now Lmfao... They were wrong as a dog in the bushes with a squirrel but they did NOT think it was some random innocent dude with a breakdown of a trick for the sake of a breakdown of a trick, but instead some pedantic overly critical douce bag hater only doing it so he can HATE... Hell, I'd call out this video now for not making it clear or using more clips about what they THOUGHT was the case going in. Now you can call all that out for them not getting the info (gotta call him out now, and this is prepared content) but you can clearly see if honest why the hell they violently attacked and mauled him by calling a unknown unseen person a Nerd..😬🥴
I don’t think they personally attack you, it seemed like there was an anonymous person on SLAP talking shit on haslam and they were just defending his boy saying it’s not a big deal. A lot of slap guys ARE dorks finding something to hate on. I think if Haslam would’ve mentioned you by name and gave more context, stating that another skateboarding RUclipsr who does a lot of analysis and history type of content it would’ve gone differently. They do talk about negative comments and haters quite often and how you have to brush it off, until i saw this video i assumed the same thing. Now that i know it’s rad rat i see it a little different but it wasn’t personal.
Kelly shouldn’t have called you a dork but to be fair, Kelly and the nine club crew didn’t know who Chris Haslam was talking about. I think Kelly’s comment was more geared toward all of the trolls and a**holes on the internet these days who just like to hate on other people. If you really know about the nine club you know they would never throw anyone shade. They preach nothing but respect and being kind to one another.
@@TheReflecter they were hating on haters, and he was reacting to the click bait title of a video he hasn’t seen. If you watch 9 club Kelly is a super supportive guy and probably the biggest skate nerd/fan there is. They even poke fun at it on the show. Those guys aren’t haters at all, when the topic of Braille comes up they don’t even call those guys dorks when they’re the biggest dorks in skating. Most RUclips skate vloggers are dorks but I don’t think they have much exposure to it, they’re more in the world of the core industry.
Jrtrashman I don’t think they’re full on haters. They shouldn’t of been generalizing and making assumptions in the first place that’s why I said they’re basically talking out of their asses because they’re commentating on a video they haven’t even seen. Every podcast is guilty of this.
If they watched your video they would know that you video is not an acusation. The title starts the topic with a question. Your video is basicly a thesis about the topic, with a conclusion in the end. It makes people think about something. And it's great!
maybe the lesson here is to not use clickbate titles. ofcourse they didn't watch or need to watch the whole video when the title is enough to harp on for 10 minutes in their podcast.
I mean I didn’t see anything wrong with their responses. Chris wasn’t talking negatively to you he was just annoyed by it. And Kelly is 100% right that is a dorky thing to nerd out on. That doesn’t mean he was being rude.
Don't they have days in between recording episodes? 5 dudes couldn't prep and take time to watch a 5:30 video? They probably wouldn't have understood the point but they should've at least watched it if they're going to offer their lazy opinions on it. They're podcasters though so the laziness makes sense.
How would they know Haslam was going to bring up the subject? They are professional skateboarders and their opinion based on what Chris Halam said is more than valid.
sure it's valid to you but i dont agree. "i havent watched rad rats video, so i dont know enough about the topic to have an opinion on it" is more respectable than going along with a guest just because they're "right"
@@edbangerrr1489 they probably don't even know who Radrat is. I don't even think he was mentioned by name during the interview. The idea that they should have watched his video beforehand is ridiculous. No one made any personal attacks against him. My 2 cents on this: Nine club is an informative entertainment podcast. I for one think it’s biased a lot. I like(d) the positivity on almost every topic, but that got a little stale. I would like them to talk more about controversial topics, like biased or intransparent scoring in contest circuits for example. Still enjoy the show and listening to it as often as I can, but only the nine club, not the experience. I like the background stories and experiences that pros or their guests share. I find the “all is super sweet” attitude of the experience section kind of stale. On the other hand: isn’t every pr good pr? @radrat I think you are doing a great job. That they react to one of your vids or that Jamie Thomas reacted to something you created can’t be a bad sign. At least I think that means you do good work.
Playing Devil’s Advocate here - Don’t use clickbait titles like “Does Chris Harlan cheat…?” and then not expect to have people get annoyed about it and maybe not even want to watch it. You yourself said in this video that Ellis made a clickbaity title to get people to view his video. You seem like a decent dude but you knew what you was doing when you wrote that title. You play the game and take the consequences. Also the irony of this video being about people insulting you and now all of your followers are laying into the 9 Club hosts in the comments here and calling Kelly Hart names.
Not really, he posed the question and came to a conclusion. Is every scientist that poses a theory or hypothesis a "problem" or do they get pass for not using YT?
He’s manipulating words to get views while unintentionally making someone look bad. He even says “cheating is like a hack.”…Then say hack. He even says, “I don’t think it’s cheating at this point”, however you know how many people will read that thumbnail and mindlessly think “ he’s a cheater”. That is the problem.
I've never heard of this channel but youtube made it pop up because I watch a lot of nine club. The PR you got from that CH episode is gold. thank them.
None of the nine club hosts were dissing you directly in any way, it’s pretty obvious that it was about the idea that the trick wasn’t a laser flip. Haslam himself was the only ones there who was referring to you and your video. Why did you cherry pick clips that without proper context within that video to make it seem as if it was an attack on you? Why did you name drop the nine club as opposed to just addressing Haslam himself? I’ve been a fan of you content for years as a fellow Michigander but after listening to what was actually said this feels like a misinterpretation of what happened.
I can only show so much of the video to avoid a copyright issue. But Haslam's opinion seemed to me to be more like 'maybe they're right, I just don't care. It's dumb to get worked up about it'. His comments seemed more toward the people who complain directly to him, while Kelly's were directly at me for making the video. It comes up several times in the interview.
@@RadRatVideo I genuinely believe that Kelly’s comments were directed at your channel as a faceless entity because of the clickbait title and the idea of saying that he “cheated” was dorky. It was more of a distaste of the idea that someone took the time to make a video saying he didn’t do a trick the way it supposed to be done, causing a group of people to take their time to mass comment about it. Nothing he said was directed at you as a person but I can see how it could be easily misconstrued.
@@RadRatVideo post a link to the video in the comments or the description and let people make of it what they will. It's pretty obvious alot of people in your thread havnt seen it.
Most people just read the click bait without further reading or investigation…this could either be a lesson or just chalk it up to people that enjoy being ignorant. I’ve always loved your videos and how thorough you treat the subjects you cover. Keep going.
Just subbed. I Watched the whole thing, you handled it super respectfullly and TBH it is kind of lame that people will make that kind of judgement based on a title. Even when I heard them talking about it and I didn’t know who you were my first thought was “so what that’s just a video title he’s probably not actually calling Chris Haslam a cheater in the video” and that is the case. I guess when you don’t exist in the world of saturated content you don’t understand titling videos in a way to get engagement. Look at 9 club titles tho, but yeah they aren’t fighting for attention. Their shorts titles are getting creative tho.
Skateboarding in it's own way, is an art form. People analyze it and dissect it at different speeds and lens than others would. Much like in the visual arts when drawing for example, to draw a complicated shape, you break it down into much more smaller shapes. What the Nine Club needs to realize is that skateboarding is it's own art and people look at it differently than some. They ought to respect that difference and worry about landing the next trick and riding away smoothly rather than what another person might think of them on the internet. Also, Kelly Hart, quit being a fucking dork about what others think and skate goddamn you.
I think what this shows is that skaters in general are dorks at hearts. Jeff Grosso talked about this at length. We are the weirdos. It doesn’t matter how rich or poor. If you skate, you’re a weirdo. I for one love that and it’s a reason why I started skating.
Your researched documentaries on skateboarding history are excellent and I'm sure many reading this will agree. If other skaters don't respect your knowledge or the depth of your research, then that says more about them than it does about you. One day you will be invited onto the 9 club, and an apology will be forthcoming. Nobody in the skateboarding family should be judging one another. The whole community was originally built upon the principles of mutual respect, and we must all remember that.
@@fernandoreyes680 just saw it. that video was uploaded on a few months before mine. so close. then again he kind of rolls his on the ground almost like an oldschool kickflip versus popping it up in the air. still counts though. i stand corrected

They never even seen the video clearly, so I think they were just trying to make Haslam feel better about it, by attacking you instead of actually questioning what was in the video. Fuck em! Lol, keep up the good work
I think the nine club has run its course and became played. Skateboarding is more interesting than skateboarders sometimes and therez more room for your topic based videos than people rambling for an hour in the skating space
I completely agree. Maybe a couple of skaters were interesting who were on there because you never heard from them again since they stopped making parts. But the rest? Nah, couldnt give a flying fuck about an 4 hour long interview with somebody who posts clips on Instagram all the time and is active in the skateworld. People like Kareem, Rodney, Elissa etc. Those would be interesting. Tony Alva Maybe, Steve Cab. You know the true interesting people. I wanna hear whats in their mind. Not to hear the word ''Fucking'' every 3 words trying to be cool like old geezers. The nine club is highly not needed anymore. First it was very cool, but years and years of this. And there is never something new they bring to the table. Always the same questions. 'How many tries did that trick take. How long have you been riding for that brand'. Never something deep. Like you said, its run its course.
I disagree. The nine club has its place. There’s plenty of people that just want to listen to skaters talk. Especially older skaters, and see how they’ve evolved as people. With that said, I do agree that there’s more to skating than skating. Jeff Grosso was heading that way, but he passed unfortunately .
@@Mocroskate the nine club is just about shooting the shit. Many times it is repetitive, but it’s like when someone has a convo with a friend. It’s not always going to be captivating but it has its place.
We don't call pressure flips inward heelflips, so there is definitely importance in naming these things precisely. But the underflip method has been used forever; Mike Carroll's ender in Questionable-- a sketchy frontside bigspin heel (which was technically not a full make, but definitely a 3/4 make)-- also uses the back foot underflip method.
Switch big spin heel. I agree with what you’re saying about the pressure flip but many do actually call them inward heel pressure flips as there are obviously many different types.
@@MrGwaldo Oh, I didn't say switch? Dammit. I've never heard anyone call them inward heel pressures unless they're explaining it; the inward heel style is the original pressure flip. There's also a frontside pressure flip, which is like a hardflip; Jovante Turner used to do those.
I was today years old when I learned people do laser flips with their back foot. I've never been able to do one, but maybe that's because I ALWAYS thought you flip it 100% with your front foot....until I watched this video. :)
Ah man that’s sucks.. def uncalled for. If they knew you or had seen the video I’m sure they wouldn’t have spoken like that about you. We all rate you! I hope you don’t take it personally cos they were misinformed and spoke without thinking.
EXACTLY, yet everyone here in the comments is pretending they went in with THAT context and still said what they said... It's laughably stupid. It's crazy how they are missing that and don't see how the video in question was presented as a hating ass troll attacking a skater...
I only watch the 9 club for whatever guests they have on that I like, definitely not for the hosts. But, they have to be careful what they say so they don't piss off the corporate skate industry and get black balled. I'm all about independent content now, keep doing what you're doing!
Nine club is so hyper positive about everything, almost to the point when it’s weird. But when some dude passionate about skateboarding just makes some vids discussing tricks they hate? Seems kinda douchey
Hush that noise, Ishod has a whole segment; and others on Tricks they ACTUALLY hate... I don't even think Rad said he hates Kiwi whatever the fuck they are... If you go watch what clearly was NOT included or made clear enough in this video; now he's responsible for that too, they thought said person was a troll attacking a skater trying to discredit them and take away from what theyve done... the word CHEAT is a negative word with negative connotations. So again BASED on that, no shit they gave the response they DID but youre acting like they KNEW the context (again you can get on them for not stopping and randomly getting it watching a lord knows how long of a video mid show) but still gave the response they did KNOWING the context lmfao.
Someone please post a timestamp for when they start discussing this in the recent chat with Haslam. The video's hella long Edit: It's during the discussion at 15:53.

You can’t expect them to talk about controversial topics when the name is after a term relates to SLS
I'd like to hear Lake havasu discussed. Some strange scoring at that event lol
I guess if the original video wasn't a click bait style title there would be zero issue.
“How do you get people to click on your video? You say it’s cheating” that’s the problem.
The PR you got from that CH episode is gold. thank them.
and I subbed you.
Sry to hear that man, you deserve so much respect for informing people and doing your best
They never actually called anyone a dork, they said that's dork. ❄️
Most people just read the click bait without further reading or investigation…this could either be a lesson or just chalk it up to people that enjoy being ignorant. I’ve always loved your videos and how thorough you treat the subjects you cover. Keep going.
Losing respect for nine club recently. First they say only pro skaters should get paid and ams shouldn’t, now this? Corny
Yeah they are just yes men to whatever the guest says. That formula only works for so long
Keep on keepin on RR - I love all your content!
Blowing shit out of proportion. "Rad rat" 🌽
Also,
Kelly Hart, quit being a fucking dork about what others think and skate goddamn you.
That's how 99% of skaters do tres
I think what this shows is that skaters in general are dorks at hearts. Jeff Grosso talked about this at length. We are the weirdos. It doesn’t matter how rich or poor. If you skate, you’re a weirdo. I for one love that and it’s a reason why I started skating.
One thing I hate most about the skateboarding community is that it’s so damn toxic and essentially people bitching about who is “realer”
The whole community was originally built upon the principles of mutual respect, and we must all remember that.
do a video about the half impossible or pressure underflip. who did it first, ME or shaun davis?
It was actually me.

@@fernandoreyes680 just saw it. that video was uploaded on a few months before mine. so close. then again he kind of rolls his on the ground almost like an oldschool kickflip versus popping it up in the air. still counts though. i stand corrected
the moral of the story is that click bait is not worth it.
That was so hard to listen to, Just supposed down to earth people who only seem to ever talk positive about skateboarding just all of a sudden shit on a smaller creator and dismiss what they’re doing and also what we like to see because that’s the content we’re here for.
They never even seen the video clearly, so I think they were just trying to make Haslam feel better about it, by attacking you instead of actually questioning what was in the video. Fuck em! Lol, keep up the good work
Have you done a video about slalom skateboarding? I’ve been obsessed with it for the passed 2 years
I think the nine club has run its course and became played.
Can someone link the 9 club video
Just search for the Nine Club stop and chat with Chris Haslam. It's a very recent video. They talk about this in like the first 20 minutes or so
I always learn something from your videos. Nine club is boring to me.
@@morgellon9449 Jovantae is such a stylish skater.
@@MrGwaldo One of my favorites!
I was today years old when I learned people do laser flips with their back foot. I've never been able to do one, but maybe that's because I ALWAYS thought you flip it 100% with your front foot....until I watched this video. :)
What? Someone got mad at a video title without actually watching the video? Impossible. Lol
Keep doing what you’re doing.
So when are you on the show?
I only watch the 9 club for whatever guests they have on that I like, definitely not for the hosts. But, they have to be careful what they say so they don't piss off the corporate skate industry and get black balled. I'm all about independent content now, keep doing what you're doing!
Cmon man...stop...
@@zezuntxiduntxi Just voicing my opinion
You could’ve just said it was a bad Clickbait title and Shaved about seven minutes off this video
So again BASED on that, no shit they gave the response they DID but youre acting like they KNEW the context (again you can get on them for not stopping and randomly getting it watching a lord knows how long of a video mid show) but still gave the response they did KNOWING the context lmfao.
insane to think days ago this only had about 1k views. amazing how it blew up in no time thanks to the support of us radrat lovers !
Someone please post a timestamp for when they start discussing this in the recent chat with Haslam. The video's hella long
Edit: It's during the discussion at 15:53. As Rad Rat said, Haslam seems more laid-back about it while the other guys kinda rip on Rat Rat without having seen the original video.
