Spa Valley Railway - Winter Steam Up - Saturday 8th January 2022

First gala visit of 2022 and it was a first proper visit to the Spa Valley Railway! The weekend of 8th/9th January saw the Spa Valley Railway hold their Winter Steam Up event, which would see four locos in action, with star of the show in the form of visiting L&Y Class 23 Saddle Tank No 51456 from the East Lancs Railway. The timetable saw two trains in operation, with locos swapping at both Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge. The weather for the most part was rainy throughout, and mostly scuppered any meaningful filming for the day, but I did manage a couple of shots of trains departing from Eridge during the day.
