Like all other people, I convey you my deepest congratulations for this video. Like all other people, I confirm the Seiko manual is a nightmare. Two little things, however : you could change the music, as the one today is repetitive, although very cool. ( That's a detail ! ) 😃More important : as it takes a while to go from one step to the next one when setting the time, it is worth setting it with a minute advance, so at the end of the operation, time is more exact. And a suggestion : you should ask Seiko to give you a financial reward for every time one watches your video, and, quite soon, you could afford purchasing a brand new Seiko Perpetual Calendar !

I have changed the battery in a watch shop but unfortunately the repairman did not know how to set my watch back to the latest date, etc. I was really frustrated with setting this watch up as i did not have the instructions manual with me and there isnt a manual for my watch model online. Im glad to find your video which helped me alot to figure out how my watch works!!! Have a nice day to you!

after almost two years and tututials, tuturials and the watch manual, people try to help me.....and nothing :( ........... this is the real shit, thank you very mutch, YOU ROCKS ......my only problem is set the 24h time for the day upgrade ate the right time, but only try the tururial one time and all works, i have to see again with more calm

I have this same watch and watching the video is a wonderful refresher on how to set and use each function. The background music you selected is calming, making it easier for me to follow your guide. If I could make one improvement to the watch, it would be to extend the arm with the red crescent on the end, making it easier to identify the date, month and leap year. Thank you!
After a battery change there is an IC reset that is shown after everything else in the manual, yet it is the first thing that should be done, and of course that's now looking like an issue for me. Hope not. It's crown out to 2nd position, and press both A and B for 2 seconds.
@@user-sumptemi52 I had the same problem, all clock hands where all over the place I think this is why you first need to reset the watch and set everything after, I have all dial hands aligned perfectly now
@SolimBD because somewhere I read that it's Seiko own developed hardlex...so can you confirm that it's sapphire crystal rather than hardlex crystal? Also, what is the price of the brand new? Thank you so much.

I get it all, however, when I press ‘B’ to shift to stopwatch the day hand moves to somewhere between 12 and 1, not to CHR. I’m baffled! Please Help!

It's a Japanese Seiko watch, it uses a quartz machine, and it has a sapphire glass
