Vader even said “your pain has just begun”. This man has 10 years worth of pent up rage on obi wan, he doesn’t want to kill him straight away, he wants obi wan to feel his suffering and pain that he put him through. Can’t wait to see if they’ll have a final showdown at the end of this series. It’s going to be EPIC
Side-note: it's so heartwarming (as a teacher/person who is unable to have their own kids naturally) to see the Vaquez children growing up and becoming your adults :) You see bits of Mom and Dad in them. I love you all, and I love this channel! I can't wait to see more

I'm looking forward to Obi-Wan telling Vader he has still has good in him, hence the line in Return of the Jedi, 'Obi-Wan once thought as you do'. I always wondered about that!
I think Vader had no intention of killing Obi-Wan now. He wants to torture him extensively. If he had wanted him dead, a simple neck snap would have done it. Besides, there's no way Obi-Wan could have escaped. Vader could have lifted him over to him without even trying.
Fun Fact: Yoda did not want to train Luke because he saw how reckless and stubborn he was. His first choice was to actually train Leia as a Jedi. Only after Obi Wan convinced him did he decide to train Luke.
I've always felt that the one big sadness and flaw of the Jedi way of life, is taking force sensitive children away to be trained and teaching them that they should not allow love into their lives. Yet they cannot help but feel it and regret the lack of it. Is there any quicker path to darkness than being denied love and caring?
I think, and this is just my prediction, that there will be a shocking twist with Reva. The series is halfway done so if there's going to be any dramatic twists they will probably have to do it in the 4th or 5th episode at the latest. I think Reva will turn back to the Light and her being around Leia will be a big part of her turn. Also there is still good in Vader, Anakin is still in there, so he still has some soft spot for his old Master
The story of Rey’s parents is actually coming out in a few weeks! A book called Shadow of the Sith that follows Lando and Luke’s journey before the sequel trilogy.
While Leia is her mother's daughter, I'm kind of tired of the girl = mother, boy = father equivalence that tends to be played out. Leia is Anakin's daughter as much as she is Padmes (and the reverse is true for Luke), and I'm really hoping for (and needing) a Leia / Vader interaction scene. We know from their meeting at the start of ANH that she knows him and has met him before (naturally with her being a Senator). But to have her meet him for the first time at this point, the tiny little girl with her trained/ingrained poise and the hulking ball of machine and menace, with neither of them aware of who the other is, would be incredibly resonant and poignant.
