MY SINCERE APOLOGIES FOR THE SHODDY SOUND! A MICROPHONE HAS NOW BEEN INVESTED IN..
Phew that wind noise! Too bad i couldnt hear much of what you were saying because.., Get a deadcat to go on your mic it might help with the wind noise although i dont know how extreme it is there 🤣Anyways looking forward too the next video!! 👌
No mic on this one bud. Bought one for the next visit up there though..
I have a house, almost identical to that bothy. I really need to do some lime pointing. Great video. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
He's done some great videos on lime pointing, well worth watching a few times over as there's a lot of info to take in. I'm lime pointing an ancient farmhouse (which I'll pick back up in the spring), I have followed his way to a T and it looks amazing, unfortunately i was shown elsewhere before so I started a couple of different ways and I've gotta redo it. As for time once you get the hang of Danny's way there's nothing init. Well worth learning 👍
Good work lad!
This would have been fascinating but the background noise of wind means almost nothing can be heard outside the bothy. Shame because I was looking forward to this.
The captions are working their arses off trying to decipher this. 😁
Keep them coming, any thoughts on working in Ireland?
Would u consider it.
New videos should be up if the repoint later on this week. F
Unfortunately, I've way too much work on at the moment to look to new horizons. Hopefully there are some stellar tradesmen that can work with lime and do buildings justice over the Irish sea.
I thought this was another hobbit movie 😂
best tips to repair cracks to window reveals?
On this project, we are simply knocking back to the original stone, lime pointing the reveals and then using mastic to seal the windows to the stone.
Mate get a baffle for your camera mic - looks like a tiny woolly jacket
My father was a shepherd on the Isle of Mull in 40's.
