Nice refurbish I like the look of the wider boards on the outside, I used old motor oil to stain mine worked well plus free, if you use diesel oil it gives it a nice dark stain finish
There's two different wiring color diagrams for RV 7 pin and trailer 7 pin. It's a screwed up system and a piss off every time you try and color match. There's no standard, some RVs use trailer color code and some trailers use RV color code.
Those junction boxes are designed for seven round. Typically semi trailers with AirBrakes are the only things that use that. That’s why the colors don’t match the functions that are labeled in those boxes.
Looks great, only thing id change is the safety chain quick links. They have a very low weight rating (probably 3500# or less each) and wont safely control the trailer if loaded to the trailer limit in an emergency. A shackle in that position would handle a much larger load. Otherwise great looking trailer and nice video.
Great work man, excited to join in on the channel early and see you grow. Trailer looks fantastic! My only advice would be to slow down your time lapses just a tad and mix in some more talking points during those like “Okay we’re about to paint … time lapse … okay painting is going well etc… time lapse.. I think that would help a lot. Good work man!
Nice job, only thing I noticed is those connecting links you used on the safety chains are not rated for high loads, I would replace them with something stronger.
We have gone to running carriage bolts through the decking next to the frame member and using a hd fender washer to grab the lip of the frame...no frame drilling required and you can use an impact.
There is a kit that is available powered by a 12 volt dc motor that will wind your jack up and down and is relatively easy to mount ! CT3 added one to his equipment trailer and was pleased with it's operation !
This does not help you since you have fixed the wiring. But there is a difference between trailer wring and RV wiring. A lot of those junction boxes are wired RV style...
Helping my brother redo his 26 ft car hauler soon we are thinking of using expanded metal for the deck .. probably more expensive but will last longer and easier to keep clean .. Thoughts anyone ?
I was liking it till 8 saw yo7 only installed 1 carriage bolt per board, probably gonna see some cupping in the future. 2 per board would’ve been better. Great video tho
Thank you for not just talking the whole video. Your work speaks for itself, no need for filler like other channels. Keep it up.
Beautiful job.
Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a project like this come together. You did a excellent job.
Great work man! You killed it with that restoration. Trailer looks awesome. Can’t wait to see it hauling stuff around. Nice single cab GMC pickup btw!

I ran into this while adding a junction box to my car trailer, its pretty common to happen
I did not know that thanks I’ll try and remember that if I ever come across that in the future

Americans 😂😂😂😂
@@srdjan361306 better than that stupid 14pin system the rest of the world uses.
Killed it!
Nicely done

100%. needs hammerlock couplings
You did a great job, there will always be those that will have something negative to say. As long as you’re happy with it that’s all that matters.
Having your own sticker is a nice touch
Good work! Can't wait to see more of your content as time goes on!

Just came here to say this. Those links are not rated for what the chain is and d.o.t. can put you out of service for that
It turned out awesome!
Turned out real nice!👍

Damn good idea 💪
Great work man nice video keep up the good work god bless
Bad ass set up

Great job, subscribed 🤙🏻
a shallow socket and a right angle attachment or the bendy snake attachment on your 12v impact will spin those nuts in the c channel
Probably be a lot of work but you could weld nuts to bold deck too
Little music overlay would make these more enjoyable just a tip.

Badass bro great work would you consider getting a hydraulic or electric jack in the future for that trailer?
Looks Good To Me
I would adjust the hitches for a slight positive rake when empty so when it's loaded it'll level out. That's just me

reflective tape must cover 50 percent of trailer length
Nice rebuild and decal! Should sell quickly!
How about the brakes and bearings how about the bushings and the equalizer i bet they were hammered out and the magnets probably are worn out
Good video. Need bushings? 😊
Use stainless steel self tapping screws.
Looks good to me. Do you restore to sell?
? Will the rust come back through the paint.
Nice content, could use some music, too much dead air, but the video and editing are great!
Needs a hub cap over the lug nuts. Great job though.
What did you deck it with?
You said something about staining it put old diesel and burnt oil on it
This was excellent. appreciate your content. Keep up the good work.

Only mistake I see is grounding each light to the frame, should of ran all grounds to one point, much easier to pin point issues.
Well we know 1 thing for sure, those electrical wiring won't last leaving them exposed like that
Coat those boards with old motor oil after they dry out in a few weeks.
Might help to have some background music
Tidy job.
As for the paint job, it's a working trailer not a car!
Been think about doing this and this video made up my mind on going ahead an doing the same thing
