I organized streaming the Lebanon vs Ireland game at a bar in Paris and a good number of Lebanese expats came to watch and got to know our great sport. Never underestimate the impact these competitions can have, we need more international rugby league!
Im a NZer and I think Michael Chieka is a great coach and Eddie Jones as well. Michael brings a lot of passion to coaching and loves the sport of both Union and League . I think politics (not these 2 coaches) have ruined Aussie rugby
Two native languages, three foreign languages, working in the fashion industry while playing rugby, coaching both rugby and league at World Cup-level, a deep thinker with a calm demeanor and a great outlook on this things..........wow, interesting guy, to say the least! Nice one, Jimmy. Thanks.
great episode. the episodes with coaches are always really interesting. we hear so little from them outside of a post match interview - where they practice not saying anything , that interviews like this are interesting and insightful. for example, would love too hear from Des Hasler, who is clearly an interesting guy!
The best interviews you’ve had have had something to do with rugby Union. 1 Ben teo 2 Eddie Jones 3 Michael cheika. Would love to see rugby community get behind club more like they did in the 80’s and 90’s. I wonder what changes cheika would make even if he was a consultant for rugby Aus would be better then not using his experience at all whilst he looked for his next coaching job.

That and also that fact a lot more people are starting to follow the NRL instead

Love Chieka. Great interview
Would it be interesting if you would have Michael join the round table at the end of the year.

club rugby is big in Aus most Shute shield sides and hospital cup teams get 3-4k most matches
The 15/Cheika era Wallabies might be one of the greatest teams to not have won 😢
