Alvin Z i use the xperia x since almost two years, searching for a new sony mid tier phone never happened to me too. I really don't like the style of the new sony phones, i think i am gonna upgrade to the Xperia XZ1 it got really cheap and i love the design.
It is just him I've had a few Sony too but my screen is spot on responsive with a thick screen protector in my hand but If I lay it down my touch isn't recognised do me a favour and let me know if yours does that please
@@Kan_DSU the look is much better than them slabs I prefer the sides been edge to edge its a solid well made phone the plastic back comes in handy for putting a new battery in yourself the looks are it's selling point go hold one in store
It actually happened to me when I first fired up the phone .. However after a 3 software updates (why not just update to the newest once?) it stopped. It was the camera app.
I've owned a lot of Sony products over the years, but never a phone. Like their camera sensors and audio, but not a fan of square edged phones. Rounded edges fit my hand more comfortably. Great review!
You should really stop trying to please Sony users. Just give us a honest review and cut to the chase. I still appreciate the fact you just say what issues you had. Good review.
Good video. I'm looking at the XA2 and XA2 Plus. The XA2 phones look much better than the XZ2 and XZ2 phones. Is there any chance you'll review the XA2 Plus?
Get the plus, it's my daily driver, my Samsung galaxy s8 is just collecting dust, got tired of the tall skinny display, media content is dope af af on the 6 inch screen. Being tnag I'm not a gamer, every day tasks such as RUclips, texting, Twitter, all run smooth af with the 4gb of ram.
It really does depend on my history with the company. LG's treatment of their G4 with hardware issues and lack of software issues means that I would definitely pay a premium to stay away from them. Looking to buy a new phone as I am now, I will pay a premium for a brand which has a good track record of customer service, product delivery, and future support. Moto G series don't get many updates (or so I have heard) but Sony phones seem to do well. This is the first video of your that I have watched: I really enjoyed it!
I had a horrible experience with this phone. The charging port went out. I bought a replacement part to fix it and the touch screen stopped working. One year of use and $300 down the drain.
If I have my xa2 on a flat surface or if its not in my hand I can't scroll swipe or work the screen at all I'm not that lazy or mess around with it that much to let it bother me. Does anyone think it's a problem and I should look into or is it nothing. Thanks in advance
The UI and design is getting very dated, the body is heavier than before, no water resistance, tinny speakers, those bezels, inferior/downgrade of selfie cam...so I wonder u still saying positive things ?
I've been going from review to review of this phone to help me decide whether to buy one or not. But what the heck is constantly on the screen in this review? I feel like an official review(which is different than a more personal style of video, like a vlog) that has a music video of a girl shaking her butt around on stage is unprofessional. I came here to watch a review, not be distracted by whatever that is playing. 2:47 Like what the heck, come on man.
That force closing loop never happened to any of my Sony phones, though. It must be your bad luck :(
Great review, mate!

Good on you mate for sticking to your guns and reporting the good and the bad.
I agree with you on app loop.. That's happening to me yesterday. Soft reset sorted it out.
Reviews should be like this :)

QOTD: If the specs were the same as competitors, would you buy a phone from an older established brand for say $100 more?

Love my xa2
How about the sound quality via earphones?
5.2 inch display is not small.

Does it have screen flash for the front camera shots?

Why can't anyone pronounce Sony properly?
