  • The Mercedes Sprinter is a tight starting point to build living space. And for years, we've explored different window and shade options that offer blackout privacy with as little footprint as possible.
For the recent build Wahroonga, we developed a new shade design that we're excited about. Today, join Mike and Ben as they demonstrate.

oooh... very cool! I also like the fact that it can be removed if needed to change out or repair etc...

Finally! Congrats ARV! We have a 2020 TB Air Interstate. Need to drop it off and get the ARV treatment! 😊

Love this idea. The narrow width of these vans is a big downside, especially is you want to sleep side to side. Good work guys!

Fabulous. Little details like this really matter. Nice innovating ARV

ARV's are too damn nice to have pull down shades! Get you a 1.25" inch AL Rollease tube, a Gaposa XS30-Li2026 motor and whatever blackout fabric your designer likes. About $160 in parts and you can bill @ $800/window.

Nice job/implementation! Have you considered using electrochromic film?

Having spent some time in cold weather in 4 season habitat, you still have to deal with condensation. How to do deal with that condensation from creating water damage as it rolls down in between the window edge and down in between the walls?

At night, with lights on in the van, can anyone see a glow?

Just curious, why do you guys overlook Promasters?

I think RAMs are great for DIY builds. Resale value and longevity of the platform aren't a good fit for the money being spent on an ARV build.

@@razorwired130 That’s a good point especially considering a ~quarter million dollar build. What’s the longevity issues though?

So for those of us with older ARV models, is these difficult (i.e., expensive) to have installed during an upgrade?

Thanks for the question Jack. We are committed to doing any upgrade an ARV owner desires. We can retrofit our new shades - the approach will vary depending on the client’s specific objectives and budget.
