In the past six months, i've been frustrated with the challenge of promoting my newsletter on TikTok and RUclips Shorts, these platforms are not conducive to this type of content due to their video-centric nature. I recently discovered an AI tool that efficiently converts newsletters into videos suitable for these platforms. So I am aiming to diversify my subscriber base beyond Reddit and mitigate the risks of relying on a single platform for audience growth.

@@TravelingTice I mean yes, not all tiktokers are on devices like 10h a day, but these kinds of videos are not the way to get mass views, they're low quality and easy to make, things that take time will inevitably prosper

not as well as i had hoped. i got some subs but not enough to really ramp up. focusing on youtube more as the strategy now which is discussed in my latest video. that's working well.

To be honest, the video is quite generic and appears to have been made with Veed. I think the audience retention might be lower because of that. But that's just my assumption.
Do you think LinkedIn would be a better choice if my target audience is content creators?

If your audience is content creators it depends on the niche. RUclips is the best opportunity generally speaking imo but it depends on what your value prop is. If it’s business adjacent then yea linkedin

ive done both and newsletters are easier to manage. With discord you get a lot of spammers and self promoters it’s a pain

First off connections to other newsletters means nothing. Cross promo doesnt do anything it’s probably the worst medium to get subs out there. You should watch my video that drops at midnight. I give the playbook for making bank w a newsletter
