What a great talent so professional really delivered on every level
I was there. It was a recording of "New Year's Rockin' Eve" on the Queen Mary. It was July or whatever but we did the whole countdown and cheering about the new year. Friend of mine was a tour guide on the Queen Mary and snuck me in.
When i was a younger guy, I had a mad crush on Linda. Her voice is so amazing. Good times.
You mean you don't anymore?
@@bertroost1675 alan, I'm an old washed up dude now.....the only thing I have a crush on these days is advil or tylenol. LOL

SMOKIN' HOT and the band is too! 🔥🎸
Wow!!! Amazing vocalist totally rocking it!!
!
How about those dance moves of the chick in yellow?
Linda had a purity, no gimmick, down to earth style which communicates as Love
Great stuff, really good live performance - with the wonderful Andrew Gold.
Greatness never to be forgotten or repeated. And the natural ease of her performance…..
Aw, a time when the music was the essence of the performance. No grand extravaganza with costumes and dancers and a choreographed show. Just pure talent, great musician's and Linda. Todays artists take note, this is what a great song and performance is.
Sad to note that backing vocalist Clydie King (on the right), drummer Richie Hayward, bassist Kenny Edwards and guitarist Andrew Gold have all passed on. Surprisingly, the oldest member of this group, backing vocalist Sherlie Matthews, is still with us at age 89.
Thanks. I was wondering who that is. Do you know who the other backup singer was?
@@jimh3267 If you pause the video at 0:30, singer Sherlie Matthews (left) is still with us at age 89, while Clydie King passed away in 2019 at age 75. Lots of great info on their Wiki pages.
