The oldest horse ever to live was 55 years old. If people took care of horses properly, their average life span would be more, but a lot of people treat them like they are expendable after they use them for what they want.. of course, not talking about you guys, but on average, horses are the most neglected, abused, and not enough awareness out there about it like there is for other animals. Horses are the unsung heroes of the animal world!

My jumper that took me to Intermediate Level Cross Country Jumping was a Percheron Tennessee Walker cross. She was born on my farm. She was Amazing!!. At 30 years she passed on & I lost a very best friend.
As a person who owns several cats I can assure you that they're much happier, healthier and cause less problems if you have at least 2. When cats or heck even dogs become bored or anxious because they're lonely they get into all sorts of trouble.

I checked the date you recorded this video. It coincides with the weather we had here at that time. But we had a "real feel" (or humidex as we call it in Canada) of 102 degrees F. I live in the Great Lakes Basin. We get most of our climate from the U.S. The weather comes up from the Gulf, via the Ohio River Valley, after it picks up more moisture crossing the Great Lakes and we then live in a wet sauna.
Aaaw did poncho die of old age or a random illness. Poor boy. Ebony is a beautiful horse. I hope she brings the new owner much joy as poncho did. Cute kitty too 😊
With Ebony being only 14 years old she’s still able to come into heat….. I know you have only gildings there but Ebony may be a little hormonal during those times. I had a 27 year old mare that every once in a while she would come into heat and stand out by the fence line posing a flirting with all the other horses😂♥️♥️. She was a poor old sway back bay mare that we roped off of for many years and she had 11 foals. She lived to be 31 and died in the same pasture she was born in.
The new horse Ebony Rosé is a real beauty. I watch the RUclips channel done by Yvonne of Friesian Horses in The Netherlands. What a regal breed they are!
Do you ever have a horse that just doesn’t want to go inside to their stall? Maybe they are just loving being outside. Or do they all go inside, every day, every time?
Ebony is a very good looking horse. I love the way she looked over the top of the stall. I hope she settles down ok. Question do mares have moody times? Love the kitten. That humidity and heat do not sound good for having to work so hard.
