I did not like this song when I heard it for Worlds this year. I thought it was pretty bland tbh...but you guys put so much soul into it that I'm all in now. Insanely good synergy between these talents, so whoever did the selection for it gets major props. I'm glad that Uruka can sing again, she brought so much soul, especially in her 3rd verse man. Lumi and Airi sounded incredible as always, and Ember sounded better than I've ever heard her. Hime absolutely KILLED the hook. Great job girls, now go get that Fishman akasupa!
I'm in the same boat, when I first heard the original I liked some of the elements but felt the execution somehow lacking and bland, but somehow the energy they all brought to this cover made me listen to it nonstop
