The AI Minecraft game shows the biggest problems of all AI games , they don’t have any memory. You turn around and the landscape you just saw has already disappeared. And I don’t see how they can fix that, except by learning and copying an already existing map, which is then missing the whole point of a potential good AI game. For now it’s useless, since it won’t be able to create a persistent level on its own. The graphics and performance can increase all they want, but it won’t fix this major gameplay experience problem.
Forgive my limited imagination, but what is the benefit of having AI generate a game on the fly? Is the implication that at some point in the future it might make procedural generation much better / easier? Or is it bigger than that?
It's that and so much more. It has potential to bring many improvements to game mechanics that already exist now (like procedural generation) but also has the potential to create entirely new games, new mechanics, new genres, and so many new possibilities in gaming in general.
Framer looks nice. I hope we get better solutions for the two frames as well. Sometimes you can trick it by generating with the same seed and adding new prompts, but often it's difficult to get a character consistent in two different frames to have the AI interpolate. Busy amazing week.
Google never had a monopoly, but has been acting like they did. They were just far superior. Their products have been getting worse, and their competitions have been getting better. Despite being the default, people are now trying to pull out of Google usage. Google hasn't lost yet, they're still in the lead by multiple laps, but they have been slowing down. Lap by lap, the competition catches up, and Google only throws green shells and bananas, thinking cheap tricks will do the trick. If Google wants to win, they better start trying. A leisurely walk won't outpace runners. They need to start running before it's far too late. Atrophy has already set in, and if they're not running when they get passed, they will lose.

We've only been in the air for a couple of hours, and I have to assume that we're traveling the shortest route to Japan, which would probably put us pretty close to Chicago, so I'd probably end up putting her down at O'hare Airport.
