I wish Enphase supported 400 amp service. I would have to somehow use 2 Enphase control boxes with parallel 200 amp service. This is what's holding me back from solar.
With the Enphase Rapid Shutdown switch is the other "PV AC Disconnect" box still required? The design for our (California) Enphase IQ8 system with 2 IQ 10T batteries only has the Enphase Rapid Shutdown switch mounted near our original grid service entrance and main panel. All other Enphase equipment (Solar Combiner and Gateway) are inside our garage. Does my solar installer have the system design wrong? Thanks

Why does your solar breaker not have a holddown?
The disconnect is for the Utility. They require a knife handle visible open lockable disconnect.
