There were a few bits I've never seen or heard of from my GCSE course annoyingly - but as an adult online learner we only had 8 months to learn all of GCSE maths and so naturally some bits got missed out. The only questions I think I messed up was the plan and elevation question, and the last question (i think I lost 1 mark or I probably full marks idk) and the combination (I forgot to divide by 2) the rest full marks I think. @@quixote5986icl I didnt know the formula for the volume I just knew it was something to do with 1/3…first try I got 81cm and then I realised that the height can’t be that big as the base is 8cm.. so I did it again until finally got 10.125cm (I was trying different things to find the formula)😂

Hello. I just want to deeply thank you for your videos. I start revising with you before the first paper. I literally smashed paper 3 with a score around 75/76 out of 80 and I do think my teacher and your videos played a crucial role. Hope I did well in paper 1 and 2 as much. Personally, I think this was the toughest of the three. I'm not the kind of person to leave questions to the end, but I did with this one. I still think I did pretty well but it took a lot more brain power than I was expecting.
Last question on edexel was certainly beyond GCSE curriculum. Don't worry much about this one, only few percent managed to it so the grade boundaries will be lower.

i definitely got the first 6 marks on the first page and some of the 3 and 5 marks but I have no idea about the rest of the questions. I think I did well, I counted the marks and I think I got( this is a big number) 50 marks. I don't know if that is exactly right.

I’m very confident I did well on this test! I answered all questions carefully and even underlined the key words on the question to make sure I definitely didn’t miss a point. Only 2 four markers had me confused and so I feel like I am definitely going to be passing Maths this year.
On the geometric sequence one, you had to times the x things and you had to solve the quadratic. I found it alright but you have to kind of think outside the box and also it said values so that kinda gave it away a little
same the last question was awful but that was 4 marks anyways and a couple of method marks can be good! i think the edexcel papers were quite hard this year - especialy because there was much more problem solving

@TheProdigy-sg5ns im pretty sure arithmetic means u add the same number to get to the next term (like 1,3,5,7,9 u do +2), so u hadd to find the difference of the 2nd term and the 1st term, the difference of the 3rd term and the 2nd term, and equal them together to solve for x, which was 3.5. mb for the long explanation

Beautiful, I was predicted a grade 9 however after paper 1 I think I may have lost it, easy marks lost but ran out of time. However, paper 2 EASY 70/80 and paper 3 EASY 75/80. Your videos helped alot, thank you. Hopefully a grade 8 incoming maybe even the 9
guys for the last questions it included trignometry, interior angels, circle theorems and pythagoras, aswell as considerig circumfrence and working out the radius. You have to draw lines from each points of the hexagons and split them into right angles and work out the perimeter from that (this is for edexcel higher)
it reminded me of the question where there was three circles in one and u had to find the rea. for this question, u had to find the circumference of the circle, then use the cosine rule to find one side of the hexagon and use trig to get the side of a big hexagon and when u simplify it down u get the same thing they ask
as soon as I finished the paper, i was writing the potential marks on my hand, then added the total score and compared to my other results. i think it’ll be a pass!
Edexcel Foundation Paper 3 went very well I reckon I picked up marks on almost every single question I only left the question about the plan elevation blank but I am confident I picked up lots of marks on that paper since it was definitely by far more easier than the others. Your channel and videos have been an excellent source of revision for me. If I achieve a Grade 5 I am going to be so happy, it would be a dream come true.
Foundation here 🙋 honestly I had mixed feelings about it, 5 and 6 markers were hard but I wrote as much as I could and so with the last questions. Rest of the paper was pretty decent 👍
It was very good and somehow not as difficult as some of the questions that came up at the ends of Paper 1 and 2. That question about hexagons was nice although I think 4 marks was a bit too low given the difficulty level (especially compared to that 5-marker on algebraic fractions which was considerably easier by comparison).
broo I found a bunch of angles but i couldnt find the side, i was literally so close to finding it because my friend (who gets like 79/80) in all maths papers said you have to draw a triangle with tan 30, i drew a bunch of triangles but i didn't think of dividing a quarter by three to get three equal triangles

Beautiful, I was predicted a grade 9 however after paper 1 I think I may have lost it, easy marks lost but ran out of time. However, paper 2 EASY 70/80 and paper 3 EASY 75/80. Your videos helped alot, thank you. Hopefully a grade 8 incoming maybe even the 9

guys for the last questions it included trignometry, interior angels, circle theorems and pythagoras, aswell as considerig circumfrence and working out the radius. You have to draw lines from each points of the hexagons and split them into right angles and work out the perimeter from that (this is for edexcel higher)
I think I got 1 or 2 marks
I was doing foundation and we only got pythagoras and interior angles 😩😩😩 was kind of hoping for circumference aswell
@TheProdigy-sg5ns i think you were ment to divide the inerior angles by two, to do trig
it reminded me of the question where there was three circles in one and u had to find the rea. for this question, u had to find the circumference of the circle, then use the cosine rule to find one side of the hexagon and use trig to get the side of a big hexagon and when u simplify it down u get the same thing they ask

Finally done with gcse maths 🤧
It was easy most of the revision questions type came out so I hope to pass this year 🎉🎉🎉
But I was not too sure of the answer I gave for the density question towards the end but the rest were okay 👍
as soon as I finished the paper, i was writing the potential marks on my hand, then added the total score and compared to my other results.

Edexcel Foundation Paper 3 went very well I reckon I picked up marks on almost every single question I only left the question about the plan elevation blank but I am confident I picked up lots of marks on that paper since it was definitely by far more easier than the others. Your channel and videos have been an excellent source of revision for me. If I achieve a Grade 5 I am going to be so happy, it would be a dream come true.

Foundation here 🙋 honestly I had mixed feelings about it, 5 and 6 markers were hard but I wrote as much as I could and so with the last questions. Rest of the paper was pretty decent 👍

FABULOUS PAPER
It was very good and somehow not as difficult as some of the questions that came up at the ends of Paper 1 and 2. That question about hexagons was nice although I think 4 marks was a bit too low given the difficulty level (especially compared to that 5-marker on algebraic fractions which was considerably easier by comparison).
broo I found a bunch of angles but i couldnt find the side, i was literally so close to finding it because my friend (who gets like 79/80) in all maths papers said you have to draw a triangle with tan 30, i drew a bunch of triangles but i didn't think of dividing a quarter by three to get three equal triangles
