One of the few movies where Sean Bean's character lives to the end.
Blasphemy
they made up for that by having his character die in Hitman three times
Actually, that’s just a running gag/myth! He survives in more movies/series then he actually dies!
@@michelmorio8026 I know. I was making a joke also. Sorry for not putting an emoji in to show that.
@@michelmorio8026 he also was on a list of dead people in Doom
This movie and the sequel are some highly underrated just fun live-action Disney movies. Definitely gives some Mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean vibes with a lot of comedy from the awesome Nicholas Cage. Definitely one of his better movies as well
I believe these movies are what made me love old looking books lmao
This is such a fun movie, reminds me of like an Indiana Jones story
I've been hoping you would eventually react to this movie! It's so underrated and my favorite movie! Hopefully you will react to the sequel, Book Of Secrets. It's equally as good as the first one :)
I absolutely *love* this movie. It's cheesy at times, but it's just so much fun. I've seen it so many times, but I enjoy it each time. It's a fun treasure hunt that also includes history. Great movie choice.
One of my favorite movies!! My grandpa took me to see the first one in theaters.
Easily one of the best Nic Cage films and a good spy thriller at that
This one's always been special to me because my dad was a Mason and enjoyed adventure films like this, and I'd bought it for him but he passed away before we could watch it together. I still have that DVD, and always think of him when I watch it (which I still do from time to time because it's such a great story). In fact, he even taught me about the lemon juice trick when I was a little kid.
The Declaration is housed at the National Archives building in DC....this movie is very accurate in regards to how the Declaration is displayed to the public...under very thick glass and tons of security. The building was closed to the public for quite a few years after 9/11...but I believe it's open again.
This is such an underrated movie.
Sahara is another fun movie like this.
Do a reaction to the sequel National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets.
Mark 32:42. Hmm. Well, in our family tree, there are some brothers who were explorers, that named their discoveries after themselves via surname, in Illinois and maybe Missouri. According to the family tree software we use, well, we were pleasantly surprised one day to get an update that included a famous family branch that linked us to, Charles I of France, I think. 🤔 🤴🇫🇷
I can't wait for the second one! That's actually the one I saw first
In my opinion, this movie is right up there with Iron Man, Curse of the Black Pearl, and Top Gun Maverick as perfect movies. None of them masterpieces, but they’re just what movies should be
I hope the 3rd one is good. I always liked these movies.
A lot of people think that the Declaration on display isn’t the original. That it’s a decoy and that the real one is hidden away and protected just in case.
Watch the 2nd one!!
As a non-american and as someone who cringes at the idea of modern american "patriotism", these movies (only two though) are still the best realisation of those ideas to me. Loved them!
Not everyone can actually be proud of their countries.
@@Priceluked - True. But I feel more gratitude than anything else, that the country I was born in is objectively/statistically one of the best countries on earth. I’m somewhat proud of us punching way above our weight in sports and even more so in the music industry. Actually also the gaming industry come to think of it. And that we’re a mostly sensible and diplomatic people, and not super egocentric and warmongering. But I’m not really proud about us making weapons, about our flag, of our king/political leaders, our national anthem and so on. Somewhere around there a lot of US citizens go off the chart truly.
Anyway. These movies glorify intellectuals, some decent American ideals and of course doesn’t take itself too seriously. Hence why I really enjoyed them.
It’s not all bad over there. Just pointing out the “cringe parts”.
@@MrZeuz666 It is indeed a strange European thing I've noticed how the flag or ideals of any European country is not really respected or cared for. Just kind of sounds strange to me to hear you say you're proud of things like entertainment and sports but not what your country really is at it's core.
@@Priceluked - It’s mostly a strange American thing in my opinion, haha. What is a flag but just a piece of cloth. Most flags have no meaning to them, and before that there were clan crests that were supposed to have some significance to the backstory of a clan but how much sense does any of that make. Most flags are just different versions of blue, red and white (Europe). And ideals in the US are not even consistent across the continent, let alone universal truths. Most of the American ideals are fulfilled better elsewhere. Most EU-countries beat the US on freedom indexes, and even “communist” China is beating the US in capitalism. Not saying that these are universal truths either. But this idea of a “core of a nation” is bullcrap. Sweden created racial biology and today we’re “woke”. America claims ideals such as freedom but have more prisoners than ever seen in history. Already mentioned “communist” capitalist China. And many more examples can be made.
Ideology is a good concept to keep track of yourself, but never followed in practice. In the US it has just turned into a kind of religion.
I think we should all look out for the whole planet and all people above silly human concepts like borders and customs.
@@MrZeuz666 Well that's just an opinion, globalism and trying to deconstruct countries into one unit or eliminating borders will never truly take place nor would it work out well.
Please!! "Your Name", the most beautiful movie i see in the pandemia! Finding!
Finally!!! Lol I’ve been waiting for this, always loved these movies
Love these movies been waiting years for Disney to make number 3. Maybe some day.
Mark 16:01. 😒 In the movie, "The Day After Tomorrow", you get to see an alternate take on the security, as the document is evacuated to a safer area. Unless I'm thinking of the movie, "2012"? Maybe both? 🤔
The first movie i ever saw in theaters
#RIPChristopherPlummer
If you like Nicholas Cage, I recommend the movie Adaptation. He plays twins struggling to write a screenplay based on a book about plants.
I second that
Since the sad passing of Christopher Plummer there has been a movie that spoke of music if you want to see the early chris plummers movies check out Rodger's and Hammerstiens The Sound of Music
Mark 10:48. Huh? Not again! Trucks like that, in such areas, should be driving at a safer speed that makes it easier to do an, Emergency Stop! But no, they always want the drama!
Sounds like National Treasure 2 might be on the horizon. I just read an article dated April of this year where National Treasure 3 has been announced, but has no date as of yet. Jerry Bruckheimer is bringing back the original cast even though NT2 was released in 2007.
Great movie and great movies series so far. You should also watch the sequel.
I always loved this movie
I hope the next movie will be Shaolin Soccer. It's my recommendation.
The founding documents are stored similarly in real life and supposed to be protected enough to survive a nuclear strike.
Da Vince Code? Please? There's not a single reaction on it even though it's amazing!
Please to react to Vin Diesel's "The Pacifier"
Half of 1% from 10 billions is 50 millions 😅
2 is the best guys
It's okay to have a little bit of spoiler. All movie previews have some spoilers to get people to watch.
War of the Worlds 🙏
As long as it's the original '53 film version and not the '05 Cruise slow motion train wreck.
@@goombah1970 The 2005 version was good. Unlike the original, the tripods were actually scary in the 2005 version.
@@vetarlittorf1807 opinions vary
@@goombah1970 Your opinion is not an absolute truth, the Spielberg version is a technical masterpiece and it has achieved fear, tension and realism.
I don't like elitists who for some reasons feels the need to diminish a great piece of cinema in order to praise another one.
By the way yes, i would like to see the 2005 version, you can easily take a pizza and enjoy the old version.
@@gamer-px5cu Agreed. Although I feel the 2005 version was a little too "Hollywooded" in some ways. I mean, in terms of characters it relied a bit much on Tom Cruise's star power and the "deadbeat father with a heart of gold" is a bit overplayed even for its time. That being said, the movie is still good as it is very well directed and the special effects were great. I don't think it's even possible to make the tripods more scary than Spielberg did.
Sean Bean survived 😉
He was probably killed off screen in prison. I think that's canon.
You should do ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK/L.A.
React to gravity (2013)
Nice lol
ROCKY 3!!!
8:26 who tf keeps a bowl of lemons in their fridge
Still waiting for karate kid 2
Storm did you lose weight? You look extra great and lean!
Can u react to Indiana Jones 4 and Star Trek 3
back when the us was much more liked.... thanks trump.
Lol. Countries that don't like us started hating us long before Trump.
But hey. Haters gonna hate.
Spoken like someone who chose not to see what Obama and Biden have done to this country. Thanks, random internet person.
