I’m too heartbroken to reread the manga because I know what happens will have sad turns and twists. But on the other hand, Sankarea is a beautiful masterpiece, which I found myself in 2014-15 and enjoyed as my first-and favorite-anime of all time. The music is timeless, the characters are full and developed, and the concept/animation is outstanding. Sankarea is truly a golden anime, and it shows through the love put into the episodes and OVA. I’m not expecting a Season 2, but the manga is just as good. Beautiful!

Where as most the good shows I have watched got animated fully or enough that I didn't desperately crave a continuation like FMA Brotherhood, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann. Well I suppose it's surprising I haven't just read the Berserk manga I suppose... Because god knows there hasn't been a decent adaptation. Also Hunter x Hunter I should really read the manga for that as well... Also has anyone Read the Deathnote Manga, is it better than the anime?
You have to continue its manga after finishing its anime It’s very very important in order to understand the anime cuz the anime covers very less manga chapters
Chihiro x Rea! love that couple! great story of love and friendship! one of the weirdest yet genuine love story made in anime! thumbs up also for that very meaningful song! love it!
Too many amazing themes in this one: 1) Love is sharing happiness and unhappiness together 2) An abused (or bullied) person will eventually commit suicide if you hurt them hard enough. 3) Hard work and kindness does pay off and nice guys do not finish last (Chihiro was a nice guy who continued to support Rea and he got the zombie girl of his dreams) 4) Don't let fear or hesitation get you. Pursue your dreams (Ranko/Wanko tells Rea to pursue Chihiro if she wants, regardless if someone else wants him).
I listen to this song from 2021 by the way this anime heroine is such cute. i watch this anime when i was 9years but now i’m 18 this anime made my childhood super amazing

only wish there wasnt so much forced comedy. the show was so dark and they kinda killed the vibe with out of place comedy. especially with the whole her father molested her thing...
