I would lean towards a middle eastern folk type of singing, but either way most fascinating. Loved her use of vocal breaks and agility to project. Will have to check out more from her for sure. As always Caitlin, please stay safe and much love hun.

The song is called desert rose sung by Cheb mami and sting . Cheb mami is an Algerian singer 🇩🇿 and in his part he’s singing in Raï music which an Algerian genre 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿 you won’t find this in other Arab countries . The language is Arabic indeed but the genre is Algerian 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
