First thing comes to mind is black lights for Wyatt Sicks but with enough White close enough together they could also project images onto the crowd like turning the crowd into a swamp full of fireflies. Kind of like what Disney does for the night fireworks show on the castle.
White Out goes back to Penn State Football Games. It was originally meant to keep Nebraska fans from drowning out Happy Valley in Red when they came to visit.
One of the most famous white out games in Penn State football history was when they beat Ohio State

10-15 years ago maybe. Nowadays no. Not because they refuse to be, I think the opportunity to go viral or semi-viral online drowns out the rebellious side.

A couple of years back in AEW. I remember Brittsburgh(Britt Baker in her home town of Pittsburgh) looked cool with the black and gold and the towels. Toronto has traditionally been a rebellious wrestling city where they cheer the heels and boo the faces. It will be interesting to see if they go for the white-out.

My initial thought about the white out was are we gonna get like a Wyatt Sicks blood bath spot?
I was at Smackdown last night. They said everyone gets a towel when leaving. Well, they ran out of them. Myself and many others didn't get one.
I got one thank goodness
However, there was no white out lol. There was a bit of white but by no means a white out
I bought one on the way in without knowing anything about the giveaway lol, part of me thinks they were just getting rid of the unsold ones

@@carlogz The Toronto Maple Leafs home jersey is blue not white. And most "White Outs" are natural since hockey fans already have a home jersey. It's in the States that arena's have to hand out t-shirts.

Everyone thinking the whiteout has something to do with american culture or the wyatts. Im guessing its a tribute to Roman and Sika. Traditional Samoan funerals have guests and family dress in all white.
Check out footage of roman at and of the funeral for Sika. Maybe im reading too much into it, but it just seems like WWEs way of sending a message to Roman and his family
White-Outs have been a Penn State football tradition for a couple decades now. In 2002 they had a big home game against Nebraska and were expecting a lot of Cornhuskers fans to travel up, and since Nebraska’s team color is red Nittany Lions boosters launched “Operation Visine,” telling fans to wear white to the game and “get the red out.” It was a huge success, not only was there record attendance but the Lions won in a 40-7 blowout, and they’ve been doing it a couple times a season ever since.
The "All-White" or "white-out" is a very common occurrence in the US and Canada in hockey and college football or basketball with different sections of the arena or stadium sometimes being assigned a color to create a pattern in the home team's colors.

The Whiteout began at my alma mater, Penn State University (that's the picture of it behind Sam). Initially the student section, and then the entire stadium, were asked to wear white (one of the school's colors) for the biggest game of the year. It became such a spectacle, especially for night games, that other schools and pro teams started doing it, usually with their own colors. I'm guessing since WWE doesn't really have official colors they just went with white. If they can pull it off, it looks awesome! But it's not a "north American" thing, it's a Penn State thing that others stole!

There is no psychological factor to a stadium all wearing the same shirts.. its just a visual aspect to make the stadium & fans look good. Most teams that do color-outs in the playoffs get torched.

At the end of the show last night they gave out very cheap white hand towels w/ the WWE logo printed on them, as everyone exited the arena.

I don’t understand why they want a white-out. That’s fine for when the home team is going all white, but there’s no home team here, so it doesn’t make any sense. Not to mention it’s in Canada, I don’t know if they even do that up there for CFL or hockey.
Done often enough, like Winnipeg when they are in the playoffs, and there is also a "towel power" where everyone waves a white towel for the Canucks.

College football teams frequently announce white out/black out games for rivalries. It’s a neat visual.
I would have Solo win the title at Summerslam. With no direct interference too, but Cody getting distracted by Tama, Tonga, and Jacob fighting Kevin, Randy, and an Uso on the outside. Then have Roman return during the rematch to cause Solo to lose the title back to Cody. And so kick off the new civil war.

The idea of the “white out” came from Penn State University since 2004 I believe where, as pictured, you would have a sea of at least 100,000 fans but it’s more for intimidation purposes at home games not just “look at us, we’re cool all in white” and are planned weeks in advance. They got the idea from the Calgary Flames “C of Red”.
