So I meant to put this comment on the previous video When Annie first appeared as the Female Titan, Armin had already figured out it was her, or at least he suspected it was her. Only those in Erens immediate friend group called him that, so the suspects go down, and The Female Titan reacted to that name meaning it had to be someone in that group. Along with the evidence that Annie killed Sawny and Bean, Armin had pretty much nailed down that it was Annie. Fast forward to after their first encounter with her, and Armin, Jean and Reiner are now stuck outside the wall with only two horses. Armin, offers to get left behind while the others get help, but on one condition. That Reiner report "something" directly to Commander Erwin if possible. If Armin told Reiner that he knew Annie was the female, things would have turned out WAY differently, but Christa came with a horse just in time, probably saving Armins life.

I can say for myself that this episode's cliffhanger out of all the anime that I've watched is the cliffhanger that made me groan in frustration when I was watching this for the first time.
The author confirmed Mikasa and Annie never got to fight each other bc when they were about to Shadis (the guy that trained them) stopped the fight since they all were supposed to be training with their assigned partners.
There’s definitely ‘bad’ and ‘good’. The show just stopped showing any ‘good’ at a certain point. A serial killer or paedo or genocidal maniac isn’t just a person with a different opinion, as much as anime tries to blur these lines (I can speculate on why but don’t want to bore you)

That flashback was from their training days and remember Eren transformed for the very first time when they graduated and fought in Trost, that's when he and everyone else found out he was a titan, in the flashback they were trying just bc they had to for practices and Eren takes all training really serious and admires Annie for how good she is in martial arts and wants to be as good as her.
Reiner is supportive of Eren because he ressembles him because Reiner « Wants to go back home » While Eren wants to kill all the titans » and Eren’s goal is definitely something he doesn’t want because obviously Reiner doesn’t want to die BUT he sees Eren’s passion and how determined and engaged he are and for that he respects him and even gives him words of encouragement ( even if it’s against what Reiner wants to do) It’s ironic but Reiner is a complex character

In Reiner's and Bertholdt's case, they were injured because of Mikasa slashing them before they were turning into a titan. Biting isn’t the only way of transformation. Any Open Wound allows them to transform.
