I found you years ago and made this for my Japanese in laws, it still is my best dish and my husbands favourite dish. Basically, its the only dish in my repertoire. Thank you for making me seem like a cooking whiz in front of my now late Japanese in laws. :)
Thank you for another great video, Runny-san. I always eagerly await your newest video. I have tried many of your recipes, and they are always delicious! Thank you for sticking with your channel and continuing to entertain us with your videos over the years.
your presentation of the dish is so nice! Getting better and better each video you make Runny! :D it looks great! I need to try it with the extra gochujang i have in the fridge~
Awesome video, Runny! I started watching your cooking videos a long time ago! You're really helpful, you always have good advice, and they're always so delicious! Your music and jokes are really funny too! What's your favorite thing to eat? :D
Thank you for the background information. I'll just rinse really short then. Keep up the good work, I enjoy watching!....although I'm ashamed to say that I almost never really make the recipes myself....
I made the soup a little thicker than usual in this video. If you want to make it as regular soup instead of dipping soup, add less amount of the those spicy paste.
God ! Every single thing you cool look SOOOO delicious ! I'd like to try some them (especially those spicy noodles !) but I don't know if I can have all the ingredients here in France... I'll have to check ** ! Thanks a lot !
I'm gonna try this one day! I couldn't eat mushroom so I will substitute it with some small pieces of shrimp instead. and gonna put less chicken stock to enhance the spiciness! thank you RunnyRunny! :D
ぜ is a particle that emphazises assertion. Compare it to よ and ぞ. Traditionally it is mostly used by males and is considered impolite outside of casual situations. I didn't know about スギちゃん so I looked him up. He has a blog called スギちゃんのワイルド日記 (Sugichans wild diary), where he often says ぜぇ at the end of his sentences for emphasis. I thought it was pretty funny. You can find it easily.
When you rinse the noodle with cold water after boiling them, it actually makes it more moist and slurpy, because if the noodle is hot and left out, the water content within the noodle will evaporate through steam and makes it dry... I'm pretty sure anyone who cooked spaghetti noodles who drained them left them for long time do realise the noodles gets hard and they stick together....
I need to try make this, looks so good, I love spicy food, on a side note mmm .... why Im watching this at 11:30 pm also Im 28 weeks pregnant now Im craving this like crazy Argggggh! `~`
special thanks: my haters?? really?? Are there people out there who dumb enough to hate this funny humble guy??? What I like about runny, he eats his cooking in the end of the video... I love the way he eat. Funny!
The reason why I rinse the noodle in this recipe is more like you want to tighten the noodle by rinsing in water quickly. I'm not sure if the word ''tighten'' is proper way to explain....
Thank you for answering. How does that keep liquid from going into the windpipe or smaller bits like ground pork or chopped green onion? Do kids wind up coughing thru a meal until they master the art? I'm assuming that there must be a learning curve involved here. :) Thank you again!
Hey runny, the two sauces you use from korea and china, what do they taste like? Because I can't find most of the stuff you use so if i have something to compare it to, I might be able to find something similare ^^
"special thanks to my haters" lol who could hate you runny your adorable! this meal looked beautiful and i really enjoyed the background music, please could you tell me the name of the song?
Hi runnyrunny, can you sub the words whenever at the end of the videos? The one that always have the arrows pointing at you, with the japanese words? I don't understand what that means

The cold water dip helps make the noodles firmer, giving a nice chewy texture

I made the soup a little thicker than usual in this video. If you want to make it as regular soup instead of dipping soup, add less amount of the those spicy paste.
