Those dislikes are probably from others his age who can’t even get up out of a chair without help, feeling jealous. Kudos to this man. This is inspiring to say the least!
There are ten.
I doubt they’re his age group. A lot of the young punks these days are jealous of everything and probably are not as athletic as this 82 years old gentleman.
😂😂😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Nah they're kids. I feel bad for any old person who reads this pathetic comment.
I met and and jumped with Don twice. He’s a great guy! And the most inspiring thing for me is that he was just mediocre when he was in high school and college. Just like me. So that means I have a chance.
You got it !! You’re amazing!
Keep it up!
It's not about what others think man, it's all about you. Sports are meant to have fun and aslong as you are enjoying it and having fun who cares. If it's something you enjoy doing who cares what others think. We aren't put on this earth to uphold other people's expectations of how they think we should be. You do you and have fun doing it!!! Don't care what others think, if there is something you want to improve on, then yes head the advice of others. Put all your heart and soul into what you enjoy it truly shows.
"It's fun" Love that quote. Fun keeps us all young
Say that again for the folks thinking you're supposed to sit around waiting for death after a certain age instead of enjoying life as long as you draw breath.
Also set the record of falling the farthest without breaking a hip. Well done dude, I hope I'm that active in 30 years
Don’t hope just stay active
He started again at 66, so happy he didn't let "old age" stop him! This added years to his life I'm sure
I just wanted to appreciate how powerful his run is before launch. Age is a number folks. Inspired.
So true!
These are the kinda stories I like to hear about. This really makes me happy
I pray he stays healthy because it looks like he's having tons of fun.
Bless his ever loving heart ☄
🙌🏾 Alright Mr Don! 👏🏾👏🏾 If you've ever attempted the pole vault then you understand the respect that should be shown for this man making records esp at this phase of life. Inspiring about aging. ❤
At the age of 82 it is a great thing. My hearty congratulations, sir.
I love this man!!! Keep the passion people!
What beautiful soul
Love this !!! Very inspirational
Wow! Incredible.
You go my man!
This guy is my hero
The ones that YT recommends me inspires me a lot, like A LOT 🤫😏
this is going viral should be on trending #1👍🏻
Awesome! I pole vaulted in high school. I’m in my forties and don’t think I could do it now. Maybe I’ll try it again at 66, God willing.
God Bless him ...
Awesome ❣️
That is awesome always stay young at heart
This is the best!!!❤❤
Fantastic story
Unbelievable!!!!!!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😎
What an inspiration!
I'm impressed when I jump outta bed in the morning.
Legend
Absolute alpha of a man!!
Awesome!
Inspiration!
I would LOVE to do this again!!! I'm 64 and dream of doing what this man does! I'm just afraid when I plant the pole my arms will come off!! LOL!!
"So you weren't even that good to begin with" lol
Wow.
WOW
Excellent 👌🇺🇸🇺🇸
Mondo Duplantis will break his record once he qualifies to this age group.
God bless him. At 68, I don't like falling, but then I never did😅🤣
Steve's videos are TOO SHORT. Fix it.
just imagine the conversation with his Doctor
Cool now I now what I'm capable of st that age. 💯
My life Goal.
I cleared 12'6" in High School
Sure you did.
@@gaysiegelord
Awe you Jealous?
@@unclerobby jealous of someone who needs to lie on the internet about pole vaulting 12 feet when the world record for pole vaulting was set by the man in the video and its blow that? Nope
@@gaysiegelord buddy, he set the record in his age group. I went to high school with a guy who vaulted 15’. You need a break from the internet. Go for a hike or do some deep breathing
In an alternate universe, this story could’ve been parodied by PHILlP EDWARD HARTMAN ( SNL Alumni ) with Lawerence Gene David ( Seinfeld ) impersonating Don Imus. The skit could cover ANYTHING! ( Maybe Don’s secret talent was stunt dunking. Could explain his show canceling statement, and why he never saw the Snipes/Harrelson B. Ball movie). Of course, it would Premiere ON COMCAST / NBCUniversal !!! It would simulcast on CBS stations who picked it up. In that alternate universe, of course . R.I.P. Phil .
In Don’s famous fashion ,here it goes. 3 decades to breathe longer than someone younger and who’s voice/tone brought work to him, I’m glad that life allowed you to breathe your last breath. BD- signing off!
Is it bad? Good? What do you make of it?
🥰🥰🥰
You may want to take a look at Dr William Bell plow vault, RUclips.
Sticks and stones will break your bones.. not this guy
Do work...
Lol damn
0:37 nice tongue piercing
Let’s all remember not everybody is blessed with the same genetics. Most older people can easily break a hip or a shoulder here.
No this can't be real theres a young athlete behind that mask most ppl will suffer from some type of arthritis or herniated discs by age 65
Key word. MOST.
