Omg y’all! I just looked up cost of shipping cause i was curious and apparently it really is that expensive for a product that size! Just wanted to pin this on there cause now i feel bad lol! But i was like omg that’s expensive for shipping, but yup i looked as if i were sending a package that size and it was $7!!! 😳

Hey listen, you don't need expensive make-up remover products. Micellar water works amazingly. I'm obsessed with skincare and I have like a 12 step routine just because of all my serums and toner and Essense, eye creams, moisturizer and face oil and all that shit. I take my skincare super seriously and micellar water works just fine and you get a big ass bottle for like $5. There's no reason to spend a bunch on make-up remover when micellar water exists. It's gentle, but if you tried it and it was harsh for you, they have gentle ones

I'm currently on a Pat McGrath, Viseart, Clionadh, Sydney Grace and JD Glow kick for eye shadows and only use Kate Somerville, SK11 and Skyn Iceland on my face (for after cleansing skincare). I use the farmacy cleansing balm and Korres goat milk cleanser. I'm ridiculous. I have a $300 moisturizer. I'm just saying for a quick no water make up remover micellar water is the way to go. It comes off with no scrubbing or irritating your skin. It has nothing to do with splurging

Brands need to stop coming out with makeup wipes! They’re soooo bad for the environment!! There’s no excuse anymore with the number of alternatives on the market

Normally I use cleansing oil to dissolve my makeup, then I'll wash my face. It looks like it works well, but that price point is a little high for me. So I agree that it could be a little more affordable.

Ponds cold cream is the best makeup remover I’ve tried so far, I got it from Ross for $3! Plus if you wipe it off with a towel or a makeup eraser, there’s no need for single use wipes!

I really liked the mist and the wipes. I’m glad they sell mini versions on Sephora. Next time I’ll buy those since I don’t wear makeup everyday
I purchased the One Size makeup removing spray as well, but for some reason they sent me both the spray AND the wipes! Not sure why, but I'm not against it!

I really love the equate coconut makeup wipes, they're so moisturizing and thick! Really nice on my sensitive skin

I wouldn't splurge on something that's not staying on your face and being removed. It's not going to really do anything special for your skins benefit. It's just like a cleanser. Save your coins for serum, moisturizers, masks, treatments etc. Unless you don't care about how much you're spending of course!
Yep I spend my money on serums and moisturisers when it comes to skincare.
cleansing is actually one of the most important parts of your skincare routine! none of your other products that follow will work as effectively if your face is still dirty or if it’s too stripped. but i do see where you’re coming from i like to save my money for moisturizers
@@karina5917 I go by what aestheticians say and they say save your money for serums, treatments, and moisturisers. Cleansing oils and balms do not have to be expensive you just cleanse twice and you can use the same balm cleanser twice if you want, once to remove make-up and then to cleanse the skin.
I just bought the Glow Recipe blueberry cleanser and the new papaya enzyne balm...also I only use face halo, just add water, and you're done! I works really well and better than wipes. I know it is still pulling at your skin, but I have a night time routine down to a science lol. 🥰😊 I think it's better for the environment because face wipes can take up to 100 years to breakdown...that's horrible! Also, PS is shady the house...so I won't byy anything from him. But seems to work well. Thank you for your fun review! I also love how you get distracted easy...like...squirrel! 😂 I'm the same way!

Serums, cleansers, masks, face milk which is a moisturizer, and amazing other things as well! Their sister brand Fourth Ray is on their website! Affordable as well!

If you’re getting into skincare you should try ditching the makeup wipes and using an oil cleansing balm or oil cleanser. It would be the first step in your double cleansing to take off makeup and clean your skin before you go in with any toners, serums or moisturizers. I personally use the Then I Met You cleansing balm but I know other people like the drunk elephant one 😊
I agree. I presently use and love the Clinique cleansing Balm. Its the BOMB!

Tiiiiiiiim!!! You should totally use a Face Halo though. Sure you're still tucking on your face but at least you're still going to be using the same Face Halo until it gets crusted and busted lol. I love mines. But I will use it with the help of a cleansing balm for that extra help. But I feel great not wasting a sheet or two of wipes everytime I do my makeup. :)

I use wipes as well but I don’t like to because of the roughness & waste blah blah but I got this makeup removing clothes and it is soooooo soft and works so well. Literally just put in under water after you finish. It doesn’t have that course feeling some wipes have so idk maybe look into one? I’ll try to remember the name of it or look it up for you if anything. If you even read this 😂😂😂

I love my neogen cleansing oil with cica. It helps with redness and comes in a giant bottle that lasts me months!
I’m so glad I’m near outlets and we have a The Cosmetic Store. I buy the Clinique cleansing balm for half off. When I’m having skin issues I’ll use coconut oil (for some reason it doesn’t break me out) I wouldn’t mind trying the spray. Maybe I’ll wait for a Sephora sale

Make up wipes are too harsh on the skin and create a lot of waste.
I have oily skin and I loveeee using a double cleanse.
I use the DHL oil remover. Every time I use that and follow with my usual cleanser
my skin looks too good. Even the morning after I have zero complaints about my skin.
When we have less build up in our pores our skin can reap the most benefits from our
expensive skincare products. Oil removes oil and your hands don't pull as much on the skin as compared to makeup wipes.
Kinda the same reason we dab the face as opposed to rubbing the face with a towel to dry off.
It also doesn't make your skin more oily if anyone is wondering.
I think most people have those certain products we splurge on. Maybe one month try splurging on skin care.
I haven't tried any products over $60 yet but I will spend anywhere from $25-$60 on a single product.
I'm a college student who works less than 20 hours a week. Yeah some months I go hella broke but my skin
always looks bomb af.
I use to use drugstore skin care and they do work but I've seen better pay off with my more expensive products.
A trick I use is I put a drop of a non-comedogenic oil (I've been using almond oil lately) on my makeup wipes when removing my makeup especially eyeshadows. It helps to wipe off everything. Sometimes i'll just use a moisturizer too same thing. When its more slick theres less pulling on the skin too. I try to use more blotting motions than scrubbing.

The other day I bought neutrogena wipes for the first time in yeaaaaars because of a Beauty Emergency lol, and it reminded me that I can't use makeup wipes at all. The wiping hurts my skin. Most likely I'm being too rough but I would rather use my makeup remover balm. I use the korean brand ZERO. It's fabulous. I then wash my face with lukewarm water and then use COSRX Low HP face wash. My skin doesn't hurt and they take off all my makeup. I love it.

I like cleansing balms and sometimes I just use miccellar cleansing water.
You could use a cleansing oil or balm to remove makeup and you don't have to scrub the skin. It's the best thing and also cheaper than always buying makeup wipes

Just get a cleansing balm or oil, then cleanse your face with a cleanser. Ditch the wipes. ❤
I also now buy the equate makeup wipes lol but my fave product is the Mac cleanse off oil! Never heard you mention it before even though you worked at Mac wondering what your opinion on it is?? Also it lasts a long time for me
There’s a lot of great makeup remover products out there at drugstore prices I don’t care how good something is at that price that’s way to much and price gouging as far as I’m concerned and I like Patrick but his name doesn’t quantify that price no sis that’s not it 🤷🏼♀️
Like micellar water omg nothing works as good as micellar water, and cleansing balms work without having to use anything else to take it off, you should be double cleansing with a balm or oil if you're wearing make-up anyway.
Sheri Morgan it’s funny I use one of my old finishing spray bottles that have a super fine mist and fill it with my micellar and spray it on wait a few and either use my makeup eraser cloth or my reusable cotton rounds to remove and that’s waaaaay cheaper than that lol lol I just think that’s a lot of money and even though like I said I like Patrick he’s no Wayne Goss or Pat McGRATH etc lol lol and I think the palette is a little pricey to and it’s all neutral with the stupid pop of blue that everyone was complaining about not to long ago and he went and did it I was like 🤦♀️ I was just really surprised I expected more from him 🤷🏼♀️

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm has been a game changer for me. It takes off everything I put on my face. I don’t use makeup wipes or micellar water anymore.

Respect you but I really wanted to see you try the wipes, I wanted your opinion on them. I heard they don’t leave your face red as well as they are really 42 wipes or something like that because their size are like 3 of the neutrogena wipes in one, it looked like a freaking cloth and they said it felt like really good for your skin as well as worked better than the Neutrogena wipes.

I just wanted to recommend the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser. It removes your makeup while cleansing your skin and its very gentle. I use it in combination with the Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash. (They have sample sizes so you don’t have to buy the bigger bottles)
I like the equate ones but the purple night wipes are way more gentle than the blue normal ones.. besides I usually like using like a foamy makeup remover or wash my faces with a face wash after the wipes so I’m not spending $20 for no makeup wipes.
That’s how much it is to ship! He has to pay for boxes etc. I sell on eBay and Etsy. Shipping is not cheap even for small items. Sephora marks their shit up so much that in the end you’re still paying for shipping! Pretty much every time you see free shipping it’s tied into the cost of the product. Nothing is ever free, hunty 💜❤️

The one that gets near EVERYONE is phthalate.... it's just pronounced "thal-ate"... with just the "th" sound at the front... also, hydroquinone is actually in a bunch of skin-bleaching products... Cydnee Black did an AMAZING vidoe covering this topic and the dangers involved... I know all abt that ish being from the Philippines... Oh, Aha moment! No one's job is a 100% perfect everyone has bad days too that's just life. I don't think he lied i think his overall experience was good so he focused on the good rather then the bad daus. But I could be wrong that's just what I think
