Yeah, they kind of went there with the crayons, but the formula looks terrible for those. They could have done something really unique with the shadows. We've all seen fun colors, but nothing quite like some standout Crayola shades I can think of. A "big box" palette with a bunch of shades, a few lip and eye pencils in fun colors in their own little space and a sharpener on the back, all in one tacky (but high quality) yellow and green package. The boring black and white packaging really zaps any fun out of it. They should get a do-over.
Besides the quality, I feel like Crayola missed many opportunities with their “makeup brand”. Come on, you guys are all about colors and creativity. Could you not be more creative with the packaging and names? And the colors? Make them effervescent and jaw dropping!

They could have easily produced products as good or better than the inexpensive brands like Wet and Wild, Elf, LA Girl with prices kids could afford, since this obviously is geared towards children. To hear $30 for chalk as an eye shadow palette (and their other ridiculous prices) is straight up shameful. If a kid is going to put all their money towards this, they should be giving them something better than what you can buy at the Dollar Tree.
I'm dissapointed because you would think with the idea of crayons everything would be vibrant and colorful (like the other box of crayons pallet) but they went with dreary muted tones :(

Loved the tip about removing mascara dots on your skin. I have really long natural eyelashes and I can’t apply mascara without getting them. I usually use Q tips but it smudges my foundation. Thank you!
Kendall Hopkins I have very long eyelashes and one thing that has really worked (the dots still happen but hardly as bad as they did) is just set your mascara with a waterproof mascara over the top. Works a charm!
I just think personally they should have stuck exclusively with shades that they have in their crayons and named them accordingly. They have enough colors to make a good collection with. Especially a liquid lipstick and eyeshadow palette. A palette that is the original 8 colors then a palette with more wearable colors and maybe even one with shimmers to go along with their glitter crayons.
Conspiracy theory... crayola makeup is the same formula as their crayons. Think about it.. the tacky formula, the chunky fallout and the horrible pigment. And the highlighter is just a metalic pink crayon.

Loved the tip about removing mascara dots on your skin. I have really long natural eyelashes and I can’t apply mascara without getting them. I usually use Q tips but it smudges my foundation. Thank you!

Kendall Hopkins I have very long eyelashes and one thing that has really worked (the dots still happen but hardly as bad as they did) is just set your mascara with a waterproof mascara over the top. Works a charm!
Wait for it to dry and it’ll come off without smudging it’ll flake off if it’s not waterproof

I just think personally they should have stuck exclusively with shades that they have in their crayons and named them accordingly. They have enough colors to make a good collection with. Especially a liquid lipstick and eyeshadow palette. A palette that is the original 8 colors then a palette with more wearable colors and maybe even one with shimmers to go along with their glitter crayons.
