I’m reading the book of heaven, just a peasant woman from Iran, a convert from Islam but I feel the deep profound love Luisa had for our Lord Jesus and Mary most holy and their immense love for her. She showed her obedience and love by living it as she says depriving herself from walking, sleeping, working, eating and all and all as a victim soul to teach us the power of sacrifice and Jesus our Lord provided for her a bishop to have holy mass at her little apartment so she can receive Him daily, now that’s real true love as it is in heaven. Father Celso explains beautifully the significance of Luisa’s actions. Everyone should read the book of heaven. I love her because she loved our God with His love, she love Holy Mother with her love and showing us only with their love we can love them as they deserved to be loved. Our human love don’t measure up not even close. Fiat!

I have been reading the Book of Heaven and I'm on volume 20. I love the little lessons Jesus gives us and how He fills us with more light as we learn. Every time I read, I say to Jesus, thank you so much for this book and thank you for loving us so much. He fills my heart with so much joy and I cannot wait till everyone knows and loves the Divine Will. What a beautiful gift God has in store for us. Fiat.

My identical twin sister Laurie, was a big devotee of Luisa Picaretta. A few days after she died, a friend of hers came over to see me. The friend gave me a book called “The 24 Hours of the Passion of Jesus Christ”. Paula told me that Laurie had this book with her all the time, and that she attended Eucharist Adoration frequently. Weeks after I returned home from her funeral, I started looking at this book. In the back is a bibliography of Luisa Picaretta. To my awe I discovered that Laurie died on the very same day as Luisa. March 4th. Luisa was born on April23, the same day as Laurie’s youngest child, Kelly. Luisa was from the very same province in Italy as Kelly’s husband’s family!! It was amazing . I miss my twin more than I can ever express. She became more holy during the two years after her husband’s death March 8. I remember her telling me so often that this is not our home. She told me to be the hands and feet of Christ to the dying. I think I’m going to read this book. Please pray for me as I struggle a lot with her being gone, and in March it will be six years since she died. God bless all who are reading this. Praise to Jesus that we have a Savior!!!

I returned to confession after decades, I was paralyzed with shame....the Priest said to me, "crawl into his wounds" I didn't understand but found my way to Louisa, The 24 hours..." and it has had enormous impact on me and helped me so much to grow in my love of Christ and humility of self. I'm so sorry for the pain you feel on the separation from your sister. She left you with an amazing gift in that book, use it to honor her. She is waiting for you, and the book is your way to her. Blessing to you! Forever in Christ!

Couple days later I found this lady picture on the internet and it was Luisa Piccaretta ! I was shocked because I had never seen or heard of her before . I was even more in shock when I found a book on my shelf that was gifted too me who knows when . It was the 24 hours of the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ .

I went to one divine will prayer meeting invited by a friend. There was hyper focus on Luisa and also a woman who is currently alive that they played recordings of speaking of the divine will. They changed the words to well known Catholic prayers also. Something inside me felt like this was very off. Far more focused on the messangers then the message of God. I did some research afterward and decided this group wasn't for me. Maybe it was this particular group doing it wrong but I will stick with fully approved devotions. The church has many.

    • @AbAeterno-sw4pq
      @AbAeterno-sw4pq 7 дней назад

Yeah, they are doing it wrong. The main focus of the groups should be the reading of the Book of Heaven, that contains the revelations Jesus gave to Luisa. Luisa herself, when she was alive on this Earth, made herself disappear so that everyone would see Jesus, not her. I sure hope you give it another try. We have a Zoom meeting on Wednesdays, we are reading volume 1, if you are interested, let me know so I can give you the link. Blessing in the Divine Will.

    Breaking down to the simple:
-The Gospels call everyone to holiness
-When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan, God said this is my son whom I am well pleased
-At Cana, Mary said, do what he tells you
-At the Transfiguration, God said, this is my son whom I am well pleased listen to him
-Focus on the first commandment to live your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and the NEW commandment Jesus gave his Apostles, love your neighbor as yourself -loving everyone as God commanded in the Gospels, and the saints writings further emphasize key to eternity
-At Gethsemane, Jesus said, not my will but thine -follow his lead.
-The Chaplet of St. Michael is a prayer to holiness
-The writings of the saints and mystics do not reveal anything new, they further Mary and God’s appeal to everyone to desire holiness. To imitate Christ in everything including to die to self, not my will but yours, God.
-Pray (meditate on) the words Jesus created in the Our Father with reverence. It is the Gospel and the Mass in short form
-The morning offering is the time to give Christ the driver’s seat for your day. Lord, I give you permission to work through me this day in any way you wish, I ask that you give me the grace to see your handiwork, so I may give you the credit and the glory
-Consecrate yourself to the Holy family
-Read the daily Mass readings coupled with In Conversation with God for further understanding of their teaching
-Go to Mass more often during the week
-Go to Adoration several times a week (even if all you do is pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy)
-Go to confession at least twice monthly and
confess your venial sins (do a proper self examination beforehand)
    -Pray the Rosary daily
-Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily
-Realize everything you have/own is from God, every good idea is inspired by God, you own nothing. Give God his due recognition
-Be humble and meek as Mary and her son
All of this can be done, start with a few items, continue to add. Ask God for the grace to live a more holy life daily, and he will show you the way…

@@legiomariae4961 Everything we need, yes. But He is not stingy, and gives us more to help us in these dark times. That is why we have NEW canonized saints. If they were not "helpful" to us, the Church would not still be holding canonization ceremonies to hold up people for our emulation--even millenia after He left, and after the deposit of faith was completed. Don't you think having St. Pio has been helpful to your faith and the Church's faith, even though we did not "need" him? What about St. Therese? Again, just because we do not "need" it, does not mean it is not helpful or desired by our Lord. Otherwise, what was the point of Our Lady going to St. Bernadette at Lourdes? Or St. Juan Diego at Guadalupe? After all, the deposit of faith was completed already by then, right?? But still, over 20,000 Native indigenous souls agreed to baptism and salvation in their conversion at the message of Our Lady to Juan Diego, and that has been a great gift to the Church, many believe, and the Church has said that incident is "worthy of belief." So, lighten up!

There’s a difference between doing the Divine Will & having the Divine Will.
Some of her writings were placed in the Index of Forbidden Books & never taken off until the Index was abolished in 1966. The Holy Office wrote, "the three books covered by this decree would not have ordinarily merited particular consideration, in view of their small size and limited weight. But they were condemned because they represent a false and dangerous mysticism which is frequent in our days. The principal subject of the writings of Luisa Piccarreta is the Divine Will, conceived in an exaggerated and erroneous manner and presented in language and terminology super-abounding with inexactitudes and extravagances. The small volumes in question have already appeared in numerous editions and have been translated into other languages... For this reason it was opportune to put the faithful on their guard.”

I know I know it’s not necessary to completely avoid these private non church approved ones and I am open to them but they seem not to add anything useful to our faith like Fatima or Lourdes or Guadalupe. That’s just my imo but I think if we stick with church approved ones we will be fine. But I guess I could be wrong. There’s just so much for a new catholic to learn about and I think these non church approved ones stake away from my learning of church approved ones which are really important imo

I cannot tell you how long I have yearned for Father Chris to find out about the Divine Will because we all know how passionate he is and I thought…when he finds out he will run with it and it will spread so that more souls live it ( they will give Jesus life within them ) and I thought I should email him! But then I hesitated because I thought how can I explain something so grandiose and immense in a nutshell!! You can’t I don’t think anyone can … but more graces ( more Divine Light) has being given right now..anyways and I thought plus he probably wouldn’t believe me who am I but nothing ..just a worm.. so I left it up to the Divine Will for he knows best and at what time so I just did what they call around praying that the Divine will come and his Kingdom cone reign in the heart of Father Chris and in all his consecrated priest throughout his Church and in all of humanity each and every soul past present and future in every generation. And Look! Now it happened !! Because it’s what the Divine Will wants but it will be up to our free will to say yes or no … Everyone have a Blessed Day and give him life in you and in all if your daily acts but READ READ READ for you are The Kingdom !! Interestingly my Father told me some if this as a child it’s all backed up by the catechism … the problem is that we are so poor we don’t know our Faith… read the catechism !! And the Gospel it’s all in there and in Faustina’s Diary of course !!!

I remember maybe 15 -20 yrs ago our parish installed this picture of Jesus (Divine Mercy Picture), then I heard about Divine Mercy Chaplet and I was drawn to it, but I didn't know the origins. I remember my mom those years ago saying to me something like. "I'm still not sure of this Chaplet and Sr.Faustina is it trying to take the place of the Rosary, I've read a little of her diary and some of the things she says are so ordinary...".
In early 2020 I came upon Rev Fr Oluoma Chinenye through RUclips and his numerous sermons. This Fr Oluoma is in Nigeria and is Divine Mercy chaplet recitation but I have never heard sermons with such authority and charity, I think they are destined to go down in history. He is a saint. The first sermon I heard was on prayer and the Our Father.
Now 2022 I came upon The Delorous Passion? Sr.Emmerich sp?), I read the book and gave it to others to read.
Now 2024 am hearing about Divine Will. Just amazing to me. God raises the lowly.

Thanks for sharing the Divine Mercy chaplet is the Rosary on training wheels.
3 pm Jesus suffered on the cross for 3 hours without any consolation .
The Spanish when saying the rosary the first three beads of the rosaries symbolize the birth of Jesus before during after.
Your mom mentioned St Faustina could be trying to take the place of the Rosary funny I was just thinking of this with the Divine Will just trying to take the place of the Divine Mercy chaplet amazing.
When you think about it's just another path to adore the Mother of God the Blessed Virgin Mary as any mother or wife or daughter would never get tired of someone telling them they love them.
Catholic Nigeria had a catholic priest that saw in a vision Jesus handing him a sword and the sword turned into a golden rosary suggesting the weapon against the devil is the Rosary.
Mel Gibson's movie Passion of the Christ was based on the writings of Sister Emmerich.
God's love and knowledge is infinite.

I’m only halfway through the video so maybe my question will be answered but I struggle with discerning what God’s will is for me. I often feel confused and worried about not doing a good enough job doing His will. Then I feel bad about being confused & worried because that seems like I’m lacking in trust. 😩 I have a STRONG desire to do God’s will though and have been doing the best I can to develop a stronger prayer life. I get consumed with my many failures and things I need to improve and then get worried about being scrupulous. I know you have a separate video about discerning God’s will in your life, I should probably watch it again. I just want to make Jesus happy and save souls but I am so small. Well, I recently got to Corato, Italy and made it to the church where she is buried, just before it was closing. A woman in church brought me to her tomb and then after the church closed she was kind enough to bring me to the home where Luisa lived, which was right around the corner. Her home was being renovated and is eventually to be a museum. She pointed out the room where Luisa was bedridden for 60 years living soley on the Eucharist. I was so moved by the whole experience. Thank you for this very interesting exchange about the Divine Will devotion. I read and watched several videos (from the official DW channel and Daniel's), and downloaded some materials to study it more seriously. Some of the claims that Luisa makes made me feel uneasy as they sounded a little bit "new agey", e.g., almost saying she is kind of the next Virgin Mary and presenting Luisa as quasi-divinized. I felt very unconfortable going through some of the meditations this devotion proposes, so I'd rather stay away from it. Maybe I am not yet prepared, only God knows. But having such wonderful devotions and teachers from that past as Sta. Teresa, St. Bonaventure, St. Agustin, etc. the Sacred Heart ... I guess I'll stick to those. I would just recommend anyone wondering about the Divine Will devotion to approach it slowly and carefully, to watch their thoughts and preferably to do it under the guidance of an experienced spiritual director. God bless this channel and Fr. Chris. Greetings from Canada.

@@francesrosecarmel are you aware this Divine Will movement has been around since mid 1900’s. Fr. Most dies in the year 2000. In a letter to Catholics United for the Faith, Father John A. Hardon, S.J., wrote:
"In my judgment, the underlying premises of Luisa’s writings are not consistent with the magisterial teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. Thus she claims that all we have to do is abandon our own will to the Divine Will, which can be found everywhere. There is an emphasis on complete passivity of the soul in Luisa’s writings. The result is a promotion of Quietism, which was condemned by the Church in the 17th century.
"Luisa’s writings openly promote the idea that she has received a new revelation. The faithful must accept this revelation to achieve the new way of holiness which equated the sanctity of Luisa Piccarreta with the sanctity of the Mother of God.
"According to Luisa, once a person receives this 'new sacrament' of the Divine Will, the human will, in effect, acts in such a way that the action is purely divine. This basic error was taught in the early centuries of Christianity and became a cardinal principle of the absolute predestination of such founders of Protestantism as John Calvin.
"If necessary, I shall be happy to provide further and more detailed analysis of the writings of Luisa Piccarreta. For the present, I will only quote from the formal letter of His Excellency, Andrew J. McDonald, Bishop of Little Rock, Arkansas. He wrote to Father James E. Mancini, 'By this letter, I forbid either the public or the private promotion of the Kingdom of the Divine Will Movement in the Diocese of Little Rock.'" The bishop’s letter was dated November 26, 1997.

So God's Will makes you a sinner? No, the saints teach that you are capable of sinning but that you don't sin if you are united to His Will.

Another great quote from the Diary of Saint Faustina… where Jesus said in paragraph #1487 “Entrust yourself completely to My will saying, “Not as I want, but according to Your will, O God, let it be done unto me.” These words, spoken from the depths of one’s heart, can raise a soul to the summit of sanctity in a short time.”

Just FYI: In South Korea, the "Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea" just recently realeased a letter and an 11-page statement/report on Oct. 17, 2023, expressing their opinions and deep concerns about Luisa Piccaretta's books(The Book of Heaven). They've stated that there are some serious errors in her books and have decided to "withdraw" all permissions that were given for the publication of the books (translated to Korean). Moreover, they have expressed the need for any prayer groups (in S. Korea) that are centered on Luisa Piccaretta's Divine Will spirituality to be stopped for the good of the Church.

It is good for the Korean Bishops to be concerned for their local Church, because they have recognized fanaticism as very prevalent in Korea, even before Divine Will Spirituality came in. I would imagine that translation into Korean language is very problematic and would contain many doubtful interpretations, given that the critical edition fron Vatican has not yet come out.

Omg! You finally able to talk about Luisa Picaretta. I have been following the Divine Will for 4yrs now. I am learning the virtues given by Jesus to Luisa so I can live in his will. By the way Luisa Picaretta was born on Divine Mercy Sunday, check on that. Also the book of Heaven is all scriptures, if you read the book of Heaven it collaborates with the Bible and the book of catechism.
I have been attack the most when I started learning the Divine Will more than anything else. So pray about it with humility which is the other virtues we need to learn to live in his will.
Also the Devotion of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ it mention living the Divine Will, it said let the new Jerusalem come down on earth.
Thank you so much Father Chris for this session. FIAT

Thanks for sharing; I was not aware this Divine Will by Luisa Picaretta. Our cathedral is having Eucharistic Adoration every day now whereas before it was only Wed/Fridays.
To my understanding Luisa was a Jewish convert just like St Theresa Avila and St John of the Cross both Jewish converts to the true Catholic faith as I have been invoking St Theresa Avila and her writings on the gift of prayer in the 7 mansions.
New Israel is the Catholic Church as the New Jerusalem is the heavenly bride the Church the Catholic Church.
Interesting Luisa was born on Divine Mercy Sunday did not St John Paul II die near Divine Mercy Sunday.
Fatima the white square predicted the red square Moscow would attack the white pope in St Peter's square.
St John Paul had an attempted attack who was Polish like St Maria Faustina Kowalska.
Jesus Precious Blood devotions will surely bring not only conversions for sinners but for ourselves too.
      God Bless.

@@francesrosecarmel "On January 24, Bishop Benoît Bertrand of Mende, president of the French bishops' Episcopal Doctrinal Commission, shared a message from the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints addressed to the bishops of France. The message conveyed the decision to halt the examination of the case of Luisa Piccarreta, initiated in 1994 by the now deceased Italian Archbishop Giovanni Battista Pichierri of Trani.
Why does the Church reproach this Italian mystic, who has been gaining interest among priests and laypeople in recent years? Bishop Bertrand repeats the arguments put forward by the dicastery, which are of three kinds: theological, Christological, and anthropological. Piccarreta's conception of the divine will "does not leave man the possibility to exercise his free will," it does not incorporate "the primacy of God's merciful and unconditional love," and, finally, there is "little or no mention of the resurrection of Christ," "Christian hope, and ecclesial communion."
Bishop Bertrand, therefore, advises caution regarding the dissemination of Piccarreta's message, echoing the warning of Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, who had asked him in a April 18, 2022 letter, to "accordingly evaluate the popular dissemination of such elements to avoid confusion among believers."

What I can say about will is that my will has mostly gotten me into a lot of trouble, so why not ask for God's will to be infused in me instead. The second is that I'm a chip off the old block and what I mean is that my willful acts are what I saw my earthly father did. On the surface I'm acting upon my will and I am but I'm also channeling what I saw at home growing up. The point is my ultimate Father is the Father in Heaven so why not become a chip off His block. Get it or am I being clear as mud. A lot of what we consider as acting willfully is just auto pilot from what we have observed.

I loved this talk. What a treat to see two theological superstars speak on this important topic. I’m almost finished reading THY WILL BE DONE ( I’m giving a few for Christmas gifts) and two points jumped out of the book at me. 1. The Lord’s Prayer, is the most perfect prayer, with its individual petitions, and 2. Living in the Divine Will requires God’s grace, so each day in my morning prayer, I beg for the grace for me and my loved ones to WANT to live in God’s will. I know that there is so much more to it, but I like my Catholicism neat and cozy. So, as with other deep topics, I’ll just wait for the official Church teaching. I just want to achieve holiness, without having to have complicated thinking. How fortunate and blessed are my friends Tanya, Ann and Nancy, who will have attended the Women’s Conference in Albany. Thank you Daniel, ( once again you hit a home run, thinking of your appearances on Living Divine Mercy) and Father Chris, for your thorough preparation for us today. After your talk on April 22, HOW TO DISCERN GOD’S WILL IN YOUR LIFE, and all the amazing things that have happened to me, I love your teaching in one line, I hope I don’t misquote: JUST DO THE WILL OF GOD. God bless you both.
