I made a 16 on my first practice test with the recruiter. He said I can take it every 2 weeks. Studied for 3 weeks 1.5 hours a day. Took it agin and made a 63.

I just took the ASVAB (at meps) and scored a 97....
99% of my studying was from grammar hero's videos.

Coming from buying the asvab book and barley using it, then a tutor that a didn’t even click with. Find out this channel made my brain click and realize how easy math is now, I wish I had teachers like him that make stuff so easy. I took my asvab twice first time was a 25 before I discovered this channel. Now I’m going to take a practice test for the Air Force this Thursday and I should see a lot of improvements.

@@tbay1773 I really just used these videos to refresh myself, has been about a year since I graduated HS. Best advice I can give is just keep on studying, and don't get hung up on problems. If you get stuck, just give your best guess and move on. It also helps to know what careers you want.

@@travisvillanueva2083 I would say it's similar. I would focus on remembering the formulas
I went from a 35 on PiCat to a 51 on the asvab. I only had 1 week to study after taking my PiCat and I gotta say that I’m not disappointed with the score I got since I still got the MOS I wanted. The exercises on this video really helps especially if you have no idea on how to do them right.
On the 1st question, I did it the long way. Then when I saw your trick of marking out the other numbers I was actually amazed. 🤣
To everyone watching this video. I know what it's like to get that score you didn't want. The truth is you get out what you put in. Coming from someone that landed a 30 the first time. A 45 the second. And a 59 during the test. I can confirm that these videos help a lot as I like to learn from seeing and hearing. If there is anything to know it is always attitude not always aptitude that will determine altitude. Good luck!

How did it go
I took the asvab back in 2017 when i was 17. Got a 32. I took it again after not being in school for over 2 years and got a 52. Thanks to these videos!!

How often did you study the videos? I graduated back in 2015, i like remember absolutely no math whatsoever lol I've been thinking about the navy, i turned 23 back in july.

Guys if you really dedicate yourself and really study I guarantee you will pass that test . I took the test 3 times and the first 2 times I failed and I honestly thought that would I would never pass it . But the 3rd time I really dedicated myself to study my ass off and all that hard work paid off in the end💯 I get shipped out next month and I’m so hype . Believe in yourself 💪🏾

Muhamed Jones the first time I took it got a 17 , second time I got a 21 .. and the 3rd time I got a 35 , and I’m totally satisfied with that . I’ll take the asvab again later on in the future.
Congrats Man. I honestly need to score better than a 35 for more job options. First time I took it I got a 12, second time I took it i got a 30. Huge improvement. I just need to do well on the Arithmetic.

Here to say that str8 outta high school I got a 47 on an ASVAB a few years later I got a 25 which was very embarrassing. A month ago I kept watching these videos and studying them, along with union test prep and ASVAB for dummies but I’m confident that these were the only videos that truly helped get my score to 62 the other day, so keep studying them and rewatching them! It pays off when ur taking the real thing

I'm generally bad at math, hence the reason why I tried avoiding it at college, but I do remember many of these problems. I just needed to refresh my memory after 5 years if not taking math, haha. These late night study sessions. 4am and i go to talk to a recruiter 2marrow XD. Dont think i ever studied b4 so this is a first, But im dedicated so we shall see. Btw ur actually a god with explaining all of these problem the hard part is just remembering the formulas.
I watched his videos and I took the test last Monday and I got a 32 I knew nothing I’m still not happy with my score so I’m gonna continue to watch your videos because I have a better understanding of the test and I know for a fact next time I take it I’ll do better thank you grammar hero

Took my ASBVAB practice test and scored 44. The recruiter told me to study more so he can schedule me on this month’s ASVAB schedule and i can take the APT again whenever i want. Then I read books and watched your vides and decided to take APT again and scored 86. That’s 13 points away from perfect score!!! Now I hope I’ll do good or even better on my actual ASVAB next week! 🙏🙏

I took my PICAT practice test and scored a 71! My recruiter sent me this video for my math portion. Will update once I take the ASVAB on my score. ✨

Unless you're talking about your GT score, the highest you can score is a 99. Regardless, I hope my videos help, and I wish you the best of luck! A lot of people have more than doubled their scores using my videos!

I score a 53 Unfortunately it is not enough for the job I want so I have to retake it . I need at least a 60

Wouldn’t Question8 be a) ? Because you divided at the end ? ( meaning you would have to switch the equal sign)

He explained it before answering the question, then proceeded to go against his rule lol whatta simp

If you divide by negative
If you divide or multiply by a NEGATIVE then you flip the inequality sign, it tripped me up as well

I'm joining the marines and I really want the mos of 7051 which is aircraft rescue and firefighting specialist but I have to score really high at least a 90 but when I took the practice test I scored a 20 so I'm really hoping I score higher

When I took the asvab in high school I really didn’t care I said I’m never going to join scores a 16 or 19 can’t remember now I’m 20 forgot all my math knowledge and don’t know what to do for a career. So I’m back at this point trying to test for it again!

I’m confused; when you divide by a negative you are supposed to flip the sign and we would have gotten X> -2 but you didn’t flip the sign.
Ah wait nvm. I went back over and heard both sides had to be divided be a negative. Sorry !

You only flip the sign when you multiply or divide by a negative number, and I did not do either of those operations in this case.

12:48 do there are two correct answers to the square root of 64? 4 and 8?
8x8 is 64 but 4x4x4 is also 64, but you crossed out the 8? Which one is the proper answer? thank you I got an 87 on the picat because of your videos but I take the verification test on monday and am kind of nervous about it since there are less questions and it is timed, therefore more of a chance to fail.
