I remember being in javacord and badas was beefing with this kid so they decided to go on VC and race on seeds to see who the better runner is. Badas choked literally every seed, this is what made me instantly know the blind was faked.
I love that they had to crack the seed (extremely difficult process) since he didn't provide it and the seed showed the run was fake (since it was a seed that couldn't be randomly generated)
5:10 its interesting that you said this pearl was suspicious, because my first thought when I saw this was FSG. its kind of an old memory from when FSG first came out and the filters included treasure bastions. What you would do is as soon as you had pearls and obi, you would pearl onto the roof of lower treasure and look around. Because it was FSG, you knew the fortress would be close, so there was a good chance you could see the fortress from there. The top of lower treasure was a logical pearl in terms of visibility, but once you said that the seed has FSG regions, everything kind of clicked into place.
I think this video pretty much skips over the two most important pieces of evidence that this run was faked. 1: This seed is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO ROLL in RSG. There are 2^64 possible seeds, and Minecraft can only randomly generate 2^48, so for every 65536 seeds, only one can actually randomly generate. We have the seed for Badas's run, 3648862561368053300, and a website to check whether a seed can be randomly rolled, Minecraft Seedtype Info, and, surprise surprise, it can't be randomly generated. 2: Badas refused to provide ANY EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that the run was real besides the video. He claimed to have deleted Minecraft after the run, and didn't offer a clip of world load or of his editing software, or the seed (which is why Dylan had to seedfind for it in the first place). He just supposedly got the best paced run ever and then proceeded to delete or refuse to provide any and all evidence that could verify its legitimacy. So no, it isn't really debatable whether the run was faked.
I'm honestly wondering if that was deliberate. There's no way on god's green earth that as a verifier himself, Feinberg wouldn't have made that point to TWT. Either they left it out due to an oversight and he just didn't care enough to tell them to put it back in, or he suggested they not say so. My suspicion is it's the latter. I've done anti-cheating work for a game competition once before in the long-distant and past and as a rule we didn't encourage people spreading what we are and are not able to detect. I'm guessing they reject runs for having unrollable seeds fairly often and don't want a million randos on RUclips to know about it. I was thinking also that maybe it is technically possible that the seed that was cracked is not the same seed as badas rolled (it only looks identical in every single way in all dimensions), but if it's possible at all the odds must be so astronomical that it amounts to the same thing.
this whole video Im like "this guy is going pretty hard on someone for just a "prob cheated"" And then you just show up with actual proof and that flips the whole narrative.

Well the fact that badas deleted their channel when called out, that makes it even more likely that they’re guilty, like if you werent guilty, at least you would try to defend yourself, and also, not even sending the seed.
I don't know that much about the situation, but I've met some people with real bad anxiety in the past. It's super suspicious for certain, but I wouldn't take that alone as hard evidence of guilt.
But the thing is... He wasn't "cheating", he was just playing the game the way he wanted to. Since he wasn't applying for official speedruns, it didn't really matter that his runs weren't legitimate. Honestly, the dude that "exposed" him, basically ruined his channel, creditability, and career because the inquisitor was just too curious and inquisitive. You could argue that he (the speedrunner) is guilty of deceiving his fanbase, but there's a difference between lying, confessing, and just not saying anything. You aren't lying or even being deceitful by saying nothing. If people think you are something that you aren't, and you didn't tell them that you are that, it's not really your responsibility to correct them. It's called the 5th Amendment, the right to not self incriminate yourself, granted this isn't a court of law, but it still holds up. Refusing to defend yourself, is not to be assumption of guilt. I feel like his audience started thinking his runs were legitimate, and rather than saying the runs were modded. The speedrunner, just said nothing. He wasn't trying to prove anything, he was playing the game the way he wanted to, and built an audience probably by pure happenstance. When his "fans" turned on him, because his runs were "exposed" as "fake" and that he led them on, rather than explain himself and defend his actions, he bowed out. What's the point in defending your channel if your entire fan base assumed one thing and are pissed that it's not the thing they thought it was? To be honest, it just sad, and it's really not anyone's business how he plays the game, and why his World Records aren't being submitted to the leader boards. He already did the responsible thing by not uploading his times officially.

pretty sure its 100% fake since the seed can not be rolled by random world creation, people retroactively found the seed to prove this as badas didn't provide the seed anywhere
on the filtered seed part, cant they statistically analyse how likely that is? like calculating how many top runs in the same category also have filtered seed regions or whatever.
Apparently it's too big a number. Randomly generated seeds don't go that big, there are only 2^48 generatable seeds, while there are 2^64 inputtable seeds. To really show how massive that difference is, 1 in 65 536 inputtable seeds is generatable.
They could if they needed to, but they don't actually need to. TWT did a poor job explaining the proof here. Basically -- the vast majority of possible seeds that you can enter into Minecraft cannot be rolled randomly by the game. Why, I don't know. But it's something along the lines of for every 64 or 65 thousand seeds, the game itself will only generate one of them. The rest have to be entered manually, making them set seeds if played as a speedrun. All 64/65K seeds, both the "real" one and the unrollable ones, share an identical nether (I'm pretty sure? I think it's the same thing as "sister seeds"), but the overworld differs in each. This seed was cracked based on the video evidence, and the resulting seed is not among the 1 in 64K that can be randomly generated by Minecraft. So it's a set seed, making it illegal to use for RSG submissions, and making it cheating to claim that it was RSG. The entire FSG bit is a bit of a red herring, as the seed would not have to be an FSG seed for all of the above to be true. But FSG seeds are often fast (for obvious reasons) and they're also easy to obtain (since it's an actual category with publicly available seed generators), so it's a convenient way for would-be cheaters to try to game the system. And this does happen to be an FSG seed. All seeds produced by the FSG generators, as well as every standard SSG seed ever used, fall in the category of not generatable by Minecraft in-game.
My guess would be to feign shock to try to make the insane luck more realistic. I can see how a legit speedrunner would be impressed, but have a higher chance of just rolling with it, knowing that it truly is just random chance and they're bound to get some insane rng at some point.
The only piece of evidence I found convincing was the fsg bit. The rest is speculation. I've seen plenty of runners pearl onto the flat bit of treasure because it's an easy spot to eray(or whatever it's called now) for a fort. It sounds like he got bullied off the platform.

That little bee anime girl on the bottom right near the beginning of the video. What is that and how do I get 1?
It's an edit of "RainbowPls" and look up a tutorial on how to put emotes on your OBS
@@xaxcord2739 thank you so much :)
Can someone explain what is blind? Is it blindfolded speedrun?
assuming this isn't sarcastic, a blind is exiting the nether with basic materials to complete a run within the stronghold ring - typically called a blind travel because you are travelling blindly, with no idea where the stronghold actually is
@@platinumcomplex1335 Ok thanks
0:22 and the first (real) one that comes up was fake!
BTW It has been confirmed that the seed he used is an FSG seed. So it is fake
@@Alpha-gj9qs in this case no, only 2^48 out of the 2^64 seeds can actually be rolled in RSG, that simplifies to 1 in 65336, so almost all FSG seeds are literally impossible to get in RSG. this is one of those seeds, there's a website to check if a given seed can be randomly generated and this seed couldn't
You got any source on that?
@@Alpha-gj9qs false

1:45 FTL music!
3:59 imagine he hit the iron golem
2:00 it's really not arguable.
at this point I could def hear an argument for reign, although I agree that crookst is better rn, it's debatable
@@platinumcomplex1335 But reign doesn't get a sub 11 almost every day. Nobody comes close to the consistency of Crookst.
@@chesschad81 Until about a week ago Reignex was not playing with a calculator, which makes a huge difference to consistency. We'll see what things are like in a month. He got a mid ten just a day or two ago. (Unofficially. He always resets at the fountain, or in this case after the successful zero cycle.)
Fees the algorithm
6:10 i just would like to point out that, he takes a good half a second to look that direction and stops dead in his track to look arround. Maybe he's a good actor but i do exactly that aswell. That seemed real to me.
12pm oof
I gotta wait a while
I also think that this run is probably cheated. But if some people did send hate messages to him, they're even worse than the cheater
To be honest, it's just sad, and it's really not anyone's business how he plays the game, and why his World Records aren't being submitted to the leader boards. He already did the responsible thing by not uploading his times officially.

fake speedrun moment
Wait, people speedrun Pou? How does that even work?
As an ex-speedrunner (34:26 PB) I don’t get why you fake speedruns for clout. There isn’t any point
yeah especially since there hasn't been a single runner that got away with it for a long period of time
0:22
And the real run you picked is fake looool
Can’t wait to see this become your most viewed video because fake speed runs yay
why were all of his runs removed because of a run that wasnt submitted and that people arnt even ssure he cheated? seems kinda dumb
People are sure he cheated. It's been proven, even if TWT didn't do a good job of explaining why.
All runs of proven cheaters are removed.
he cheated dw
no no he cheated lol
Anyone will fake their run just to be on top
I wonder if its possible to cheat, tell the mods you cheated, then they have to find actual proof you cheated, if they can't your run is valid. Make a separate category since it will be chaotic and this is where you put all no proof runs
i've seen people suggest this before, it's a cool idea but also harmful to the competitive integrity. encouraging people to get away with cheating without any consequences would just lead to subtle cheating and suspicion on the normal leaderboards too
that being said, there is a video on TWT's channel where they review knowingly fake runs just like this idea, that one is a fun watch if you haven't seen it
@@patxs Ohhh I got to check that one, thanks for the recommendation
Amazing vid love the channel content one of my favorite creators
0:39 i hate people do this like they are so cringe and obviously did the "fake" run themselves
Ps also the title.
Not another BIGGEST CHEATER EVER XD LOL EXPOSED!
