Love this pattern and as a Florida girl myself I completely agree with this yarn choice. So soft and light. Great for our spring and summer wearables. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. 😊
@BrianaK Beginning this! 3am here in the UK, and bottom ribbing complete, thanks again for this, just thought I'd follow up! Think it'll be one of those divine colourwork pieces next!
The instructions for the puff sleeves will be in the pattern on the blog: brianakdesigns.com/easy-stitch-crochet-cardi-pattern/ OR on Etsy: tidd.ly/45mIagN
Loving the look of this cardi. As I started this, it seemed a bit confusing on row 1. You said chain 3, then chain 5. I had to go back and rewatch several times cuz your pattern doesn't say to chain 3 then another 5. I realized what you meant a little bit too late. Now I've gotta frog a bunch. Next time can you please just say the total at the beginning instead of "chain 3 then chain 5" I took it as I needed to have 8 chains. Not just 5. Thank you. Will restart cuz I love the look
I am making a size small and am starting on first front panel. I did 46 rows which would mean I would need to do the row 3 pattern for the first row of my first panel? When I count 40 stitches the pattern doesn’t work as written. I’ve just chained five and then end on where there should be 2 sc. can you help?
I'm working on the back & front panels for a size large. I had a total of 211 stitches at the end of the bottom body panel. I've worked 49 stitches of the first front panel, but I don't think the stitch count matches for the size large because it says to skip 5 stitches between the panels. 49+97+49+5+5=205 stitches. Am I short 6 stitches or did I mess up on my count?
I would like to do this pattern however I don't like that yarn. What substitutes are recommended Acrylic? I like working with 4 weight. This is 2 I believe?
I have a cotton blend yarn in my stash I would love to use for pattern. However it is a medium/4 weight yarn. Is there a way to figure out conversion for this?
To understand if a yarn substitute will work, check the gauge and drape, more info on that here: brianakdesigns.com/what-is-crochet-gauge-and-how-to-fix-it/

I am having the same problem. My 2nd panel is smaller than the first one. 🤦🏼♀️
Does it matter how many rows you start with? Or should it be a multiple of 19?

Does she really want 189 rows of single stitches to start the pattern?
Hard to see what stitch your going in I think it’s because of the way the camera is positioned
Quite confusing
