Agreed the relaxed mom was toooo relaxed .. this video made me 😊 smile. The mom jeans u purchased are super popular hoping they make a pair with less distressing for the fall.. but the ripped jean still looked great.

I grew up with the jeans that you hate....but totally gotcha😊 They are actually trendy now with Asians like me . Koreans too. I understand why you hated it. For some people that style of jeans isn't for everybody. With relaxed mom jeans, it's better to wear them with plain tight tank top. Thank you for the tips. Peronally, I think the second pair (the dark ones that you weren't in love with) looked the best on you (even in your hands, they looked better), and I thought the first pair looked noticeably better than the third pair that you were in love with. Edit: and from reading the comments, it seems most people who have an opinion seem to agree with this assessment.

Rewatching this again whilst in my spring shopping phase and I wish those relaxed mom jeans were still in stock because they would be PERFECT for me. The jeans really are great but just not for your shape since you’re so petite and slim! For me, I have MUCH thicker thighs and calves (I’m kinda muscly there) and these would probably be so much better for me than the tighter ones since there would be less thigh clinging. I also think I prefer a bit of a roomier fit than you (since I’m in uni and comfort really is a priority). Thank you so much for showing these even if you didn’t like them- I’ll be hunting them down on the secondhand market.

i just got a couple pairs of the regula/ most popular mom jean and i noticed that their mom jeans fit extremely inconsistent. Some of them look AMAZING. Some of them are EXTREMELY unflattering. I bought 4 pairs, 2 pairs fit so nicely and the other 2 were so unflattering and the waist was too small/thighs were too loose. So I would suggest buying a few pairs to try since their fit is super inconsistent!
I'm 5'4 and 179 pounds and these jeans fit me perfectly other than a small gap in the waist but I can handle that :) overall these types of mom jeans are and awesome choice for bigger curvy-er girls/boys!
Can I be honest & say #1 & #2 look good on you? They look very comfortable, I can see them with strappy tie up heels & a pretty blouse for added femininity & your heel won't get caught in them lol,,, For myself I don't even like jeans but those are my pick for you😊
Aw thank you!!! After looking at the footage, I do think they look quite nice :) the curvy pair is just not suited for me, I’m not considered curvy even though my legs aren’t “skinny” so it was still baggy in the thigh area but thank you! 🥰
So I’m sorry but if you look back at the 80’s the mom jeans do not match up they need to be way more high rised and hug the waist wayyyy more and be more baggy in the legs idk why they have to be so uncomfortable and not look the same :/
I think hose last jeans looked bad on you because you're bigger on top! Eveb though you're petite, if someone your measurements but with a much smaller chest were to wear these, I think it would be pretty flattering on them. But for your body specifically, you were right to send that pair back!! Lol

I think those last jeans would have looked better on you if you would have had a smaller top on. I personally don’t think you have a big top at all you are VERY PETITE, perhaps with a tighter fitting (less Loose) top those last jeans would have looked really good on you.
@@saramahoney2146 she does have a big top, she just knows how to dress to make it look smaller (I saw a lot of tips from her) haha... so I agree with Hannah M. who said that it looks weird because it's not flattering on her body shape... however, I think that Elana has an beautiful petite body and the other mom jeans look amazing on her.

The relaxed fit rarely looks good on us petite girls. Tall girls look great in them though! All the others looked great on you.
