    An old gift card or credit card makes a lovely scraper.

    How neat! I bet if you did this on top of your magnetic platform those would stay in place without shifting while you spread the paste. Looking forward to the next video!

    Wow. I am going to make gesso today. I was told clear glue but white glue works well. Instead of starch. You can use talcum powder.

    I use cornstarch baby powder, there's something in it that keeps it from molding...

      Baby powder is scented cornstarch. If you wanna pay extra for the scent, go ahead, but you really dont have to.

    Chyba lepiej byłoby nakładać szpachelką, żeby powierzchnia była gładka. Ale z ciekawością czekam na efekt końcowy, bo pomysł dobry.

    I saw somewhere else to put vinegar and soda in this just to protect. Can cornstarch get fungus or something?

      Purified water stops fungi or mould.

    1) Will mold form after a while?lets say you keep a project for a year or so... will mold form on the project?
    2) Will it crack when it dries?
    3) How do you store it?
    Thanks.

    I'm trying to use this recipe with a stencil on a card but the paper warps when it dries. What am I doing wrong?

    • @FranceMartinFrenchie
      @FranceMartinFrenchie  6 лет назад

      it will warp so if you adhere the another piece of cardstock after it is drie it will fix
      the problem

      Without knowing what you are aiming for, I would say it does, but very little. It doesnt bother me. You can always paint over it.

    So what do you do with it after it dries? can you color it? I don't use texture paste, so I am not familiar with it's use. Will it crack in the mail?

    • @FranceMartinFrenchie
      @FranceMartinFrenchie  7 лет назад

      You can sponge if you wish or you can always add drop of ink if you with to have color yes after a while well about a month I would say but depend on the temp it does crack

      That works too, but its usually the more expensive alternative of the two almost free and crafty flours. Like 10-50 cents more. But it will absolutely work too.
