“Watch the Birdie” is something old Timey photographers used to do. They’d hold something up and have everybody focus on that so they knew where to look for the best photo. The Barnaby Owl refers to the shop that used to sell the photos before digital cameras. That’s what that little shack was on the other side of that display, facing Pooh corner. It was a souvenir stand until the pandemic 😊
Wow, I wasn’t aware of the “watch the birdie” idea! You learn something new everyday! This was a night to remember for sure, I can go for those snacks right now! 🙌🏼
@@frillydress have you seen the movie? I have and it isn’t bad. People make assumptions. I am a kind and sensitive person who would notice things that are very bad. I really enjoyed it and thought it was historical and lovely. The bad part comes from stereotypes that were a part of our history. The animated parts of the movie are about as offensive (possibly slightly more) as the crows in Dumbo. If you watch it in the historical context, it’s a little more understandable why those things would make it in the movie in the early 1940s. 💙

Even though it was based off a *VERY* bad movie that Disney doesn’t even want you to see anymore. It was a very nice send off
