  • In this video we take a walkaround tour of the 2023 GMC Terrain Denali with premium package in the Ebony Twilight Metallic with the Jet Black interior. The Terrain received a refresh for the 2022 model year but gets a small power bump for 2023. Let me know what you think of the Terrain Denali in the comments below!

    Just purchased a 2023 Terrain Denali. Small luxury vehicle. Absolutely love it. I have the exact same one as video. I get a lot of compliments. Thx for the video.

    Very nice vehicle. Just wish GMC would offer a larger engine option

    Just stick the 2 liter turbo engine in the vehicle otherwise it's underpowered or the v6 engine ideal?

    Love the terrain we have the 19 denali and it is amazing vehicle with the wireless charger still could not figure out how it works

      Great to hear! The wireless charging pads can be finicky sometimes. I am not certain for GM vehicles what the requirements are but for Hyundai you must have all door closed for the charger to activate. You may also need to ensure the charger to activating the settings.

    Why did they get rid of the 2.0 litre turbo? My 2019 had it made it a perfect package. To get the 2.0 litre turbo I had to go to a 2023 Buick envision.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Год назад

      I am not sure exactly. They got rid of the 2.0T as the same time it was discontinued from the Equinox. I believe the 2019MY was the last one to get it.

      I know right...? It's probably THE WORST mistake GMC made. Considering other car manufacturers are providing 2 or 3 different engine choices. If Nissan could take a HUGE gamble and put in a 3cyl turbo making 200hp and 225lbs torque. Then GMC has no excuse in my candid opinion for getting rid of the 2.0L engine. Or at the very least upping the HP & Torque on the current 1.5. I'm sorry but 175hp and 203lbs torque is NOT cutting it for this size vehicle. Even with a turbo it's only barely quicker than a naturally aspirated Toyota RAV 4 engine. Then went with segment leader in terms of engine too WAY below. Not something too be proud of. And i REALLY like this SUV. Give folks choices GMC...!!!

    So does it have Auto Hold? Like when you come to a stop light. You can let go of the break, and it'll stay there.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Год назад

      GMC doesn't list that specifically in the features list so I am not sure if it does.

    What is the size of the gas tank? I believe it’s very small…meaning cannot go a long distance on a full tank.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Год назад +1

      15.6 gallons for AWD and 14.9 gallons for FWD which equates to roughly 400 miles of range for both models.

    The Terrain is a little too small and the Acadia is too big for me. I wish GMC had a Blazer equivalent. Having to go with a chevy.

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Год назад +1

      The Blazer would be a good option but just remember the Acadia is only 2" longer than the Blazer. The Acadia is just over an inch more narrow too. I didn't realize they were that close in size and the extra seats could come in handy even if you don't plan on using them all the time.

      The Terrain is certainly not small in the sense of cargo space. With it's ability too lower that front passenger seat completely flat. You get about 80 cubic feet with all the seats down with that feature.

      it might be the fact that the acadia has a 3rd row making it look like you're looking farther though the car @@kurtp5379

    Gutless and outdated. GM in it's infinite wisdom decided to swap out a perfectly good 2.0T in 2019 with the now gutless 1.5T that has a meager 203 ft/lbs barely enough to tow an empty 4x8 utility trailer. Analog dash cluster in a Denali package in 2023? Are you joking? No thanks. I'll buy the new Sportage X-Line Limited fully loaded with the 12.3" Supervision LCD/TFT instrument cluste and all the features here (minus the moon roof) for less money. But 10/10 for a very thorough review of a dud. The complete redesign for 2025 should be very nice, I'm looking forward to it.

      Actually it was 2018-202O. They STUPIDLY got rid of the 2.0 by 2022. Ridiculous decision i totally agree with you. They were segment leaders in terms of that 2.0 engine. And now they are WAY below. I figure if Nissan can take a gamble and put out a 3cyl turbo and squeeze 200hp & 225lbs torque out of it. What's GMC's excuse...?
