+Bonifilio Soto of course it wasn't a lucky shot, maybe the fact that Pacquiao rushed to finish him in the ropes could be considered "luck" by a stretch, but the truth is that Marquez is a master technician and he exploited Pacquiao's mistake with a perfect counter punch

The whole boxing community, and particularly the pros, all acknowledge Marquez' KO over Pacquiao. Yet Pac fans say it was luck that a 7 Time World Champion with a 4 series fight against Pac got a lucky punch. Technical fighters and particularly intelligent-champions are not known for being ''lucky.'' LOL

boogiecakes I'm a Pacquiao fan and it was definitely not luck. Its ignorant if you think it's all Pacquiao fans. It's obvious Mayweather and Pacquiao are more main stream and even people who have never watched boxing know who they are. So with that you have fans of Pacquio who don't watch boxing and only cheer for Pacquio. Same with Maywetaher and Conor McGregor. All of these "fans" of them who aren't fans of the sport and have no clue what is actually going on.

Yesterday i met him in the car dealership i work, Barrett Auto Gallery! He was supposed to sign gloves and take some pictures, but he stayed for more than an hour until he met and greet everyone! What a humble and awesome guy! He even test drove a Lotus and a Lamborghini we have! Thanks champ!
I am Filipino and i have lots of respect for JMM. I believe he won the 3rd fight against pacquiao just by a margin. I love his technical style of boxing. He is such a smart boxer.

Pacquiao and Marquez in the only boxers that I looked up to. I’m a filipino but I have so much respect and love for marquez. Why? Because when marquez fights, he give it all he got and nothing left. He fight with pride, passion and specially with a heart. I like him because he’s a real fighter not a trash talker and like what he said, let your fists do the talk 🤛 I learned from them that always be humble and always put your feet in the ground

After the 3rd fight with pacquaio and the "controversial decision", MMarquez indeed earned our love and admiration. He won the fight. It was very clear from Mannys eyes and the eyes of his wife before the proclamation that they knew Manny lost. The Filipinos are divided on the issue now. What we also saw in Marquez vs Pacquiao fights was beristain's and Roache's expertise training in full display.
Even if Marquez loses this fight, in whatever way the fight goes, all you can do is give Marquez a great amount of respect. He's a champion, he doesn't have the best chin, but he has a heart that carries him to victory no matter what the obstacle is!

I will never foget the first time marquez and pacquiao met.........marquez got dropped 3 times and got a broken nose in the 1st round.....i thought it was over but marquez pulled thru and fought 12 rounds......i have never had a broken nose but i have had bloody noses and its hard to breathe, i can only imagine the pain, the heart, the dedication to fight for 11 more rounds with a busted nose....

@SelfMadeCollazo Thanks for enlighting me about the footstopping strategy of marquez. I dont know about you but boxing is at its best when fighters are aggressive. If what you are going to do is run punch run punch up to 12th round boxing will be the most boring sport in the world, people loves KO's. So if your all strategy and without excitement much better for your marquez to join the chess masters than boxing. I am not a pacman fan, i just love a true warrior in fight not a guy who runs.

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, who works closely with former 4 division champion Juan Manuel Marquez, doesn't like the idea of requiring Marquez to agree to random drug testing if there's a 5th fight with Manny Pacquiao. He said Nacho and Marquez would be agreeable only without it. Otherwise, he would advise Marquez and Angel Heredia to walk away.
