I’ve seen this concert on PBS and then about a month later. The Blue Man Group came to my home town and played their music.😊 I was not able to go to the concert, but was glad that at least I saw it on t.v.
First time I saw this was in Vegas. Never heard of them before, wowzers what an EPIC show!!! Totally blown away. Saw the show in Orlando and it was good, however Vegas was just over the top great!!!

i love that in the middle of the drumbone there is a guitar player playing a guitar then stops and that the band doesn't play until the good part lol!!!!
I watch this on directv on demand back when it was available to watch and decided to put this on a dvd (i had one of those dvd players that you can record stuff from you cable box to dvd) and to this day i watch that dvd on road trips at camp on plane/train rides ect. And thats how i got into the bmg. I've seen them twice the 2nd time i liked it the only thing was i didn't like that the iconic sounds were all on drums but it was the bmg i mean COME ON
the part i like about drumbone is that is not only a instrument made out of pvc. but i love it when part of the band plays for a little bit and then they stop until they get to the good part!!!!
Only just became aware of these guys (and Venus Hum) due to YT suggestion. Brilliant! It's not so much a rock concert as it is a piece of high performance art.

I imagine the blue men as a trio of aliens who came to earth only able to speak in music rather than conventional language, which explains their confusion when they hear normal human language compared to their extreme competence when it comes to playing instruments and comprehending music.

After all these years, that segment with Venus Hum is still my all time favorite of theirs. She's so cute and energetic and can sing!

Lots of instruments have been made from PVC pipes.
