Audience Chamber too is underrated. Sounds so mystical, yet it also sounds like there's a large looming shadow covering it. You're facing a seemingly soft spoken and gentle queen, but at a same time, she can order an execution on the spot with the same soft spoken and gentle personality.
queen ga'ran's audience chamber music is SO good at making you feel like, "you're intimidated by this person. you're not exactly sure why, but there's something...off about her"
DGS HAS THE BEST PROSECUTOR THEMES.... barok's theme is so intense and intimidating and just PERFECT for his character. *SPOILERS* and asougi's main theme is AMAZING, it's been a favourite sicne i first heard it - and then his nocturne theme makes me cry everytime. I think it would have made more sense to only include Layton's second theme, because that's the one that plays when he serves as Inquisitor. Its simpler instrumentation is poetic in both its more humble, removed nature, as well as the fact that Layton has less people, and thus, less instruments, on his side.
Barnham Is the most underrated rival prosecutor in the series. My biggest problem with vs Is That he straight up disappears halfway through the final case.
@@mintteafresh5558 I think that people would consider him less forgetable if, after Darklaw is accused, Layton shows up along With Barnham who he freed on the way there. Barnham would be the main inqisitor, but Layton would stay right beside him as his aid and to make sure that nothing dumb happens.
I think people overestimated his significance, he was just a man who protects the town, he was one of the less relevant characters who just happened to get in the stream of the plot, so he was just performing reactions according to his personality. He didn't had any development because he already was a person with set ideals. Rouge said herself, that he always was fair, no matter how guilty or innocent you seem to be. Many people think that he let Phoenix, Luke and Espella escape because he had a change of heart but in truth, he just "deducted that writing your own daughter to be a witch is a low IQ move for Storyteller to make", so he smelled something was fishy. After that his removal from action makes more sense. I still love the man.
@@spouwnerring Yeah, but then that wouldn’t feel like you were fighting against Layton, it would you were fighting against Barnham, and they have to fulfill the promise they made when they named the game “Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright”
@@diesakuma367 For real. I thought Manfred was bad enough. Basically Ga'ran traumatized her own daughter, almost killed a witness on the stand, AND almost had the entire defense attorney team gunned down on the spot.

My favorite theme, topping Goddess of Law is definetely *SPOILERS* FOR DGS 2 The Revived Prosecutor. It really just sounds so beautiful, and knowing its from someone we thought we’d never see again, well. It was quite a shock. It’s Kazuma in an english court, with the triumph it so deserves. It’s wonderful to say the least
At the same time, it instills the feeling that Kazuma is not the same anymore, or at least, we finally see the man for who he truly is, a lost soul that will stop at nothing to have his revenge, addicted to the truth and ready discredit his best friend and step sister every time they say something. It's grandiose, but the fact that Kazuma's leitmotif is so short signifies that he is not that person anymore: he's someone else entirely, no grand samurai, just a broken man who lost everything he loves, including even his life once.
Revived prosecutor is in my opinion one of the best songs in the series. Because of the evolution of the kazuma themes from friendly lawyer to ruthless prosecutor
SPOILERS I think the prosecutor themes for The Great Ace Attorney are done really well. First, you can see the changes in emotion for Asogi's three themes. The third one, A Grand Return, seems to also have added a more Western layer over that original one. The mysteriousness of the Reminiscences of Barok is done well.
I would like to thank you for the easy-to-see GAA spoiler alert. I almost watched this prior to playing the game and it would have taken away a lot of the mystery of the latter chapters.
Edgeworth's theme Reminiscence - DL-6 Incident is still chilling to listen to, it has that raw darkness that as you learn more and more about this incident, it become more and more fucked up.
Capcom, where's my Investigation-style prosecutors game? 💢 I need Franziska threatening Simon with her whip while Klavier and Sebastian curl up in the corner wondering if it's too late to go back to Themis.
SPOILERS FOR DGS2 I remember being totally blown away by Asougi’s theme in every single variation. When first heard, it was just beautiful, the heartbreaking, then HEARTBREAKING, then scary and bitter. When an entire character arc and story can be viewed by song alone, you know you did a good job. Thank you DGS for changing my life
Ace attorney is the most incredible series at using music to convey a character development when time passes Another example is AA:Investigations 2, with both of Sebastian Debestes themes
Spoilers Asougi's Revived Prosecutor theme is spectacular. Hearing it in court during that final case... I mean, wow, it always showed up at the best of moments.

dgs 2 spoilers but GOD I LOVE THE PROGESSION OF ASOUGI'S THEME SO MUCH UGH. going from a calming, reassuring presence like he was for narahodou in his first case to something more whismical and more removed from the original, representing his fading appearance after his "death". then it hits you with this bombastic return befitting of your perceived dead best friend rising from the dead to the final iteration with a harsh juxtaposition to the original theme, realizing the change that has occured with asougi and that this is your opponent now. however, woven within are the reminders of the person he used to be and still is. UGH IT IS SUCH GOOD STUFF.

Holy sheesh, Hart Vortex/Mael Stronghart is one intimidating man. Just looking at him makes you feel like something is definitely wrong. The amount of power he radiates is astonishing. Like, you might be crushed under his foot and have no right to say anything against it. I haven't played DGS2 trough yet, but when someone is so clearly and blatantly a fusion of Manfred von Karma and Damon Gant... I think he might be a final boss or something.
@@dbclass4075 Ahaha, noooo way man, I'm glad I've watched it before I finished DGS2. Now I know that I am a seer or something. Because you see, the British Damon Gant's true nature was not the only thing I somehow guessed correctly. When I saw Klint van Zieks and how his theme was called, I instantly thought: "Hmm, it's the reminiscence theme for the Professor killings, and Klint was one of the victims, so it's naturally that this theme is tied to him, but what if.. _he_ was the Professor? And what if he's still alive, just like the title of the song suggests, since autopsy records are not a reliable evidence of someone's death, they are fabricated left and right in AA universe?". Well, at least I got the first part correctly.
(spoilers) but that theme was never played in association with him. it played before the indentities of the Yatagarasu were revealed, and after that it played for all of the members, including the other two who weren't prosecutors also, kinda nitpicky, but you just kinda gave away one of the biggest plot twists in AAI1
There's a pretty good chance it happened in The Great Ace Attorney, as that game carried a lot of character designs into it, even the setting resembles that of a Layton game (Britain instead of London, still similar). Yeah, the Layton crossover marked a before and after in the Ace Attorney series, because the creator was busy with it, he missed out on Ace Attorney 5 and a lot of different developments happened in that game because of that. The crossover also served as an opportunity to introduce a bunch of new elements to the formula, something that they'd keep doing for future entries.
in the middle of The Great Ace Attorney two I found this playlist, decided to go a bit because for sure the spoilers were probably for something I have already seen and of course I had to listen to every chapter up until the chapter called SPOILER in which I caught barely a glimpse of A CHARACTER and having been already spoiled about THAT CHARACTER i instantly knew and was floored. ON A SPOILERY SIDE NOTE (A BREAK FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT PLAYED YET) I am in the middle of the third case and I bumped into this spoiler just as I met a certain apprentice.. and instantly knew what why and who... ... Not that I wouldn't catch it without my stupidity spoiling me on this video as I already have been spoiled that THAT PERSON will appear again... and the dialogue makes it clear that MC has already met them

@@not_pockchan3418 the japanese title, dai gyakuten saiban! translated into the great ace attorney
@@dearestdokja ahhhhh ok thanks a lot for the simple and non- passive aggressive answer! :)
I agree. Him being arrested by Darklaw before the investigation starts and not being present during the course of the final trail felt really off.
He had so much character and potential up until his arrest, it's a shame he doesn't show up again until the very last cutscene of the game
Ok but. The inquisitor's themes are all bangers. We dont talk nearly enough about The Sword of Labyrinthia
I haven’t played this game, but I love The Sword of Labyrinthia! For some reason, it really reminds me of the Legend of Zelda
I honestly loved it when Ga'ran became the prosecutor of the case. It actually felt like she finally saw you as a threat to her status
Yes
And you feel uneasy sińce you are going against a LITERAL queen That controls everything
@@diesakuma367 For real. I thought Manfred was bad enough. Basically Ga'ran traumatized her own daughter, almost killed a witness on the stand, AND almost had the entire defense attorney team gunned down on the spot.
@@diesakuma367 Gotta love how she literally writes new laws in the MIDDLE OF COURT

You can’t deny the fact that Guilty Love and Twisted Samurai are absolute bangers

I love to put on Guilty Love when I’m driving (especially driving fast lmao)
Apparently its official name is Twisted Swordplay now, according to the 456 trilogy. But I agree, they both slap.

_5:00__ In his World, Red doesn't exist_
My favorite theme, topping Goddess of Law is definetely *SPOILERS* FOR DGS 2
The Revived Prosecutor. It really just sounds so beautiful, and knowing its from someone we thought we’d never see again, well. It was quite a shock. It’s Kazuma in an english court, with the triumph it so deserves. It’s wonderful to say the least
Not to mention we're already quite familiar with his leitmotif, so hearing it again in a new grandiose way makes it even more amazing.

Professor Layton’s theme in PLvsAA is so BEAUTIFUL!!!! It’s my favorite version of his theme
SPOILERS
I think the prosecutor themes for The Great Ace Attorney are done really well. First, you can see the changes in emotion for Asogi's three themes. The third one, A Grand Return, seems to also have added a more Western layer over that original one. The mysteriousness of the Reminiscences of Barok is done well.
I really like the DL-6 incident theme, even if it’s sad
Y'all. Do not read the comments at all if u wanna avoid Spoilers. Some people don't even bother to hide the Spoilers.
You're too far down in the comments for anyone _not_ to be spoiled
The amount of people who didn' t read description and still asked why Mael is on this list is too high....
Man, I came SO DAMN CLOSE to spoiling myself on one of the very last twists of dgs2 by coming around here before I beat it.
💢 I need Franziska threatening Simon with her whip while Klavier and Sebastian curl up in the corner wondering if it's too late to go back to Themis.
it is such whiplash in the games going from normal ace attorney court music to godot's sexy cafe theme
SPOILERS FOR DGS2
I remember being totally blown away by Asougi’s theme in every single variation. When first heard, it was just beautiful, the heartbreaking, then HEARTBREAKING, then scary and bitter.
When an entire character arc and story can be viewed by song alone, you know you did a good job. Thank you DGS for changing my life

Another example is AA:Investigations 2, with both of Sebastian Debestes themes

GOD I LOVE THE PROGESSION OF ASOUGI'S THEME SO MUCH UGH. going from a calming, reassuring presence like he was for narahodou in his first case to something more whismical and more removed from the original, representing his fading appearance after his "death". then it hits you with this bombastic return befitting of your perceived dead best friend rising from the dead to the final iteration with a harsh juxtaposition to the original theme, realizing the change that has occured with asougi and that this is your opponent now. however, woven within are the reminders of the person he used to be and still is. UGH IT IS SUCH GOOD STUFF.

That moment when Ryunosuke got an updated autopsy report himself in dgs 2-4 was kinda epic.
9:01 Honestly, Seb theme sounds so innocent and childist, and ADORABLE, but honestly i blame that his father dint taugh him enough, he just ignored him or said harsh things to him, and dint correct or do what he had to have done as a father
so thats why he was distracted most the time, or just wrong, i really hope these years have treated him better.. he should be 25 now
Also technically a bunch of the AAI themes could probably count as prosecutor themes if they’re closely related to Miles but that would take too long so
Holy sheesh, Hart Vortex/Mael Stronghart is one intimidating man.
It is inadvisable for you to be here when you haven't completed Resolved yet.
Well, at least I got the first part correctly.
god, darklaw's and barok's themes go so hard. harpsichords never miss
byrne faraday from AAI also was a prosecutor. i think yatagarasu theme will fit him
(spoilers) but that theme was never played in association with him. it played before the indentities of the Yatagarasu were revealed, and after that it played for all of the members, including the other two who weren't prosecutors
also, kinda nitpicky, but you just kinda gave away one of the biggest plot twists in AAI1
all of these are so badass, then we have godots theme
i love it
I'm so proud that Layton is in the list!
Personally,i think Sebastian has one of the best themes in the history of the ace attorney games
“The prosecution is ready, your honor.”
Darklaw’s theme is so good. Ngl, I’m a simp for her, I hope she (or at least a character based on her) appears again someday
Godots theme will never fail to make me sad
