The one question that I have is it seems like everyone talks about using lead weight in applications like this. But no one talks about using the same thing except using a downrigger instead. Can you explain this please?
I love this video but I noticed guides are no longer using a dropper for the weight. They prefer to clip the weight to the dropper swivel directly is there an advantage for that ?
+Fishing Addicts Northwest I want to use these flashers setups fishing from my kayak up here in Vancouver Canada....the down rigger and conventional flasher setup the power boats use is not going to work from a kayak, that is why I ask....
Thanks for tuning in Addicts! 🤘🎣

That is a killer setup. It easy to over think these set-ups sometimes. Thanks!
Thank you! You provided actual details of how to properly set up and showed how to do it rather than just showing fishing. Great job!

how deep of water do you run this set up in? and about what speed are you trolling?
Is it the same setup for fall chinook or different? What speed do you troll the cut plug herring? Thank you!
This is your mooching set up and on a downrigger you just don't use the weight right?
Where is the video for building the leader ahead of the flasher?
What model rod is that?
What ounce weight are you using in this setup. Nice Video by the way.
+DemonRat71 It depends on the depth and tide you are fishing. This year we have been fishing 6 oz and 8 oz leads.
Is there away to use a flasher for plunking for spring salmon?
What speed you trolling this rig at?
It depends on current speed, tide, and etc.
