I haven’t watched this channel in a little while (since baby 1 I think) and all the changes bring me so much joy! Kalyn is thriving and just seems so peaceful, think I need to start watching again ❤
Oh Kalyn, I’m so excited for you. I’ve been watching all of your videos since 2015, and seeing you so happy and at peace, especially growing your own garden and soon your own pumpkins, knowing how important it is to you, brought me a tear🥹 I hug you girl and love watching you accomplish anything you set your mind to. Keep rocking!! Love, Iva🩵
With as heavy as life has been, especially since 2020, I find myself having a hard time shutting my brain off and fully relaxing. Your style of video is so unique and I'm so sad when it ends. Thank you for being vulnerable and letting us in your space. Your calm presence is so so needed. ❤️
So excited for baby #2 Kalyn! ❤ hope you’re taking care as the due date comes closer and closer. Your videos have been really helping soothe my anxiety about having baby #2 myself (spring of 2025 for me!) Looking forward to all your routines, vlogs and favorites coming up!
Kalyn! I’ve been watching you for YEARS and never commented before, even though I’ve wanted to comment so many times…whatever I wanted to say became such a long, run-on thought in the end I never posted anything 😅 But I had to come here to say my parents have been doing the coffee grounds and eggshells thing for decades, and now as a result so do all of us (their grown kids). The eggshells do add calcium, but I’ve also heard that they keep garden ‘pests’ (beetles and slugs/snails) away, similar to diatomaceous earth it will basically cause little cuts in insect shells or slug membranes and they die… but I believe you would have to grind the shells to a more grainy or powdery consistency for them to work that way. I’ve also read that there’s no evidence the shells work that way lol 🤷🏻♀️ PS in case I never comment again: I love your videos, they are so cozy and comforting in these crazy times ☕️ When I first started watching your videos, I was so excited to learn you were Canadian - and from Southern Ontario, no less! 🇨🇦 All the best & enjoy the summer!
Thank you so much for commenting 🥲 that’s so cool your parents taught you that, and it always takes me back a bit to hear when someone has been watching for so long silently!! I know it’s not everyone’s norm to comment on social media, but just knowing you’re out there watching fills me with so much gratitude ♥️ thank you!
I love how you are mindful with things you buy and use it as long as it works, i do that too and don’t understand how people just buy the same thing even if it works
Love the garden and love the use of the name for garden things! So unique, I was wondering if you have a compost? I've been wanting to get one for my garden but haven't yet
@Kalyn- everyone suggest to read “The 7 years slip” in autumn as it fits the season as a glove! And couldn’t agree more! So if you can - hold on to it until October or propose on the bookclub for then 🤗 but of course- read it whenever you prefere - just a suggestion 🤗🫶🏽
I just finished this summer will be different. I really liked it and also love the setting of Prince Edward Island . It is on my bucket list to visit one day.
another wonderful video as always ! Some of these things I'm taking note of especially the salad :) I'm also living in dresses and baggy shirts and stretchy shorts haha with pregnancy ❤And Its always good seeing Mr. Bentley man !!!! 🐾🐾
I love the garden content! Do the animals bother it? If they do how do you keep them out? That’s always been my big problem. I hope you’re enjoying your summer! :)
Cold brew coffee popsicle recipe: (this recipe obviously isn’t vegan 😅 but you definitely can make the necessary adjustments to make it vegan) ❤ 3/4 cup French press or strong drip coffee Combine 1 can sweetened condensed milk with the hot coffee and whisk. Add 1 cup heavy cream to that mixture and let chill for 2 hrs. After 2 hrs, whisk again and pour into popsicle molds. Freeze for up to 6 hrs to set. ❤
It’s a bit of a labor of love but something really fun to grow in the trellis are loofah seeds. They grow and turn into essentially a giant loofah that you can cut up and use!
@KalynNicholson You probably filmed this video weeks ago but there has since been a recall of all plant-based Silk products due to food-borne illness in Ontario. So, beware!
I will never understand how people could possibly water there coffee 😂 like after that many ice cubes you are literally not even tasting the coffee anymore 😂
