If you think about it, the 3 rivers female kind of won this encounter. She will probably lose a portion of her territory the the Nkoveni female, but she eliminated Nkoveni’s two cubs, which would just be more competition in the future.
Very true. A different way of looking at it. But she will most likely lose part of her territory. And territory is everything.

So very sorry for both leopardesses who are equally formidable- one defending her territory for the future of her kidz and the other who won the battle at a huge cost of loosing her beautiful kidz. No winners here and they both know it. Wish Nkoveni exercised different choices by keeping her cubs in her territory but who am I to really know or say. It would truly be a blessing if the second cub shows up.

Im so glad Sean you came back and did an extra video on this. Broke my heart that the Nkoveni didnt lose one but two cubs. To see her fury for the loss of them was both haunting & understandable.
I hadn't realized that the mums started preparing for their cubs future right away. Clearly the nkoveni female just threatened (TRF) daughters future land, and this was considered worthy of a full on assault by the TRF, regardless of size difference. Knowing the mums will cut future relations with their independent cubs, this early & possibly debilitating dedication surprised me.
I'll be watching for Nkovenis next chaper ♡, and curious how the same situation may arise, but hopefully not.😥 Nkoveni needs a new plan.

I guess you there should transfer leopards from places with high concentation to those where leopards have long been eliminated. This uneven distribution of population is no good. Of course, this should be solved on a higher level of governments.

Are u sure he was taken down in there? I remember the report, but no place was specified in it. It only said he kinda went to the lodge deck and killed a woman there so they shot him. No name of lodge or reserve given.

I hate leopards. They remind me of aggressive humans that are self centred and selfish.
I hate lions:) They kill poor leopard cubs and dozens of other ones. Male lions are f..g selfish as they eat almost whole prey and only then lionesses have the rest... Actually they do the same as leopards, but worse.
