    • @ulti8106

Technically tigers don't in the sense they don't fight other than for territory but if a bear or another tiger cross their path the fight can go for the bear or the tiger usually tigers ambush their prey so the tiger unless hungry won't fight head on a bear but will do of its hungry enough bear vs tiger can go either way do depending on the size and 2 or 3 tigers hunting will eat bears as a free dinner they're probably the scariest animal in a pack

S Stritmatter The bigger bear is mom, and as the cub is nearly as big, it's likely their last season together.
Alone, the wolves would annoy the single bear enough, that she'd leave...but when there are two, the wolves know it's hopeless.
If the bears can cover each other's flanks & rear, wolves can't get in.
10-15 nips at over 700psi each, can damage the bear eventually, which is why a single bear under 600lb will usually run fairly quickly, especially if it's a very large pack.
20+ member packs are quite formidable, and would take a sow like this, and 2-3 same size cubs to defend a meal against them.
Those small bites to the back of the bears legs, will do damage.

@@justplainbrad7713 the wolves were smart to not press their luck too much. A mother grizzly bear is the most dangerous animal on the planet. Those nips that you're talking about mean nothing as no member of the pack would have risked a frontal attack. In this case the Cub is nearly full grown which is why you see the mother is more concerned about protecting their food source than focused 100 percent on the Cub.

Those nips are exceedingly dangerous to either bear. All needed, is the one bite that breaks flesh, and then infection is real.
Ever see a 3-legged bear? Likely from nips.
In the name of all that's decent, quit disagreeing simply for the need to differ.
      In other words, grow up.

Yes, I saw that too. It displayed very submissive behaviour, and then tried to re-join the pack, but they were not having it. Perhaps, a former member which has been thrown out for some reason, and was showing signs of poor health. Nature can appear cruel sometimes, but survival of the fittest ensures continuance of the species, and life. I wonder why he was rejected by his pack, this or another one, who look much bigger and healthier. Maybe he was the dark wolf of the family.
