Pronounciation is more like "karpatzkye" which means "Carpathian" (from Carpathian Mountains). This style is often called "strong lager", there are few beers like that in Poland, usually between 7%-9% abv, and those are usually drunk to get drunk, not necessary for the taste.
XD my "favourite" beer when it comes to get drunk cheap and quick. Tastes like lack of self-respect, believe me XD but wow... this notification poped up on my dashboard instantly from nowhere... KARPACKIE 9% ALWAYS IN MY HEART XD good you tried it. At least you know how I felt when I drained it all (like a shhhh) :D
The aroma is winey, fruity, weak malt, no hops, and you can feel the alcohol. The white foam even persists, clear and golden. The taste is bitter, but it's probably due to the alcohol, and it's also moderately sweet. It has some flavors of dark bread. High carbonation, medium body, noticeable alcohol, but it may be OK when chilled, but later it becomes rather tiring. In general, drink only chilled, once it warms up it is not the best choice, unless the hangover is bothering you :-) There is a new version Słody dymione (smoked malts) which i want to try.
Third review on this beer and the first that actually made an incredibly accurate, honest review. This man knows what he's talking about. I have to note that it only cost him £2.29 because he went somewhere expensive. It's usually a lot cheaper than that - especially in its country of origin (obviously). Solid & honest review. 💯
Comparing to british lagers its twice % of yours fosters, carlings etc. 😅 try another one, also we have plenty polish craft beer available in UK they between 2-3£ (Browar Amber/Brewery Amber) Most of the biggest brewery in Poland are in foreign hands, Carlsberg, Asahi Group and Milner, so you can find Tyskie made in Grolsch, Netherland
Funny you mention Henry Western 8.2% as that and Karpackie are the 2 drinks I go for the quickest hit other than reaching for spirits, when needed🤦🏻♀️🤪!!!
You can still get em for under £2 depending on the shop but it will be one of those shops with dodgy practices where you can never trust the tobacco to be legit.
@@thebeermonsterreviews Got smashed in the park after 7 cans. Then had half a bottle of wine. And lost my phone and barely made it back home on foot. Somebody luckily found it and gave it back to me. I’m a vodka drinker so it’s not that bad for me lol

This is far from a representative polish beer, like someone else said in the comments, it's a cheap beer to get wasted. Only good thing I can say about it, is that there are even worse ones. I think Pinta Brewery is exporting their craft beers to UK, if you want to try something good.
@@thebeermonsterreviews I like it especially on a cheap night out to drink before you go saves money that’s for sure however I have noticed it’s quite a popular drink with the local drunks which gives it a unfair bad rep around here i believe your in the south of England tho with the price as up here around the Preston area Burnley to be exact if you know it it’s only 1.50 a can wich is pretty cheap for such a strong lager I assumed it was the strongest lager however I do have to recommend a certain Scottish lager that is supposed to be 75 percent forgotten the brand but is famous for being the strongest lager in the world I am also going to have to try that too haha
