WOW. I had heard stories about The Smugglers' greatness live, but they exceeded all expectations. At this point of the fest, my 49 year old body had filmed a shitload of bands and was tired as hell. Then The Smugglers came on and I forgot about it all and rocked out. A scorching set. I was lame in the 90s and missed them, and I am so glad that I got to see them once at least. Surprise of the fest for me.

thanks for filming these man. I rocked out to the Smugglers several times at the Concert Cafe in Green Bay WI, during high school. Their energy was 10 times above this set back then, but that is expected! So Many good memories of this band.

Absolutely agreed about them being the surprise of the fest. I was beat, but they were a shot in the arm.
