Since the beginning, I have been watching your entire collection on this boat build. Your first 6 minute clip in this episode were the most comprehensive of your laminations series yet. Very worthwhile video. Thx
As an American of Norwegian decent, raised in California, I get great pleasure out of your pronunciation of words with the double oo sound. Like " I'm going to get some guuood food now". My Great Grandmother was born in Norway. I hope this doesn't make me a bad person. Really enjoy your videos.
Congratulations on completing one ‘small item’ from the project plan.😉 It is all the more remarkable of an achievement when you consider what you had to conquer to get to this point (construct a CNC machine), erect a building and construct a huge work/assembly bench - just to mention a few) and essentially all on your own. Good luck with the next steps in insulating the build shed and constructing the office.
I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers because what you do is so interesting. Great video. I have a westerly Pageant 23 amazing room inside.
The ASC Project: Making monotony entertaining, (FINished) making frames, making hum-drum enjoyable, making Finlandia warm, making floors level, making lake camels dry, making bubblegum doodadz, making grey beautiful again, making me want to hear Sibelius, making headway daily!
I've found through years of use and lots of money later, that Milwaukee tools last longer; take more abuse, and torque harder. I've had ALL the manufacturers of drivers and impacts. They are the best.
Tulevaisuuden epoksi laminointeja ajatellen, jos työskentely lämpötilat on matalammat tai epoksi tuntuu hyvin jäykältä sekoittaessa. Epoksin notkeuttaminen helpommin työstettäväksi onnistuu lämmittämällä epoksia hetken matalalla lämmöllä esim. lämpöpuhaltimen edessä ja tietenkin ennen kovettajan laittamista.
Heps. Joo, nyt mulla on lämmin koppi jossa jatkossa säilytän epoksit. Nyt lämpötilat on jo niin kylmiä, ettei epoksia voi edes käyttää ilman, että saan myös liimattavat osat lämmitykseen.
As long as the boat is not anchored they could be heated from shore power although a decent solar set up would probably easily keep up too, assuming an insulated battery box.
The brands today think € 100,- if the tool did screw in three screws it was enough value for the costumer for the money. Mine from these series (still with brushes) started smoking a while ago - it seems to have entered puberty.

Woho congrats to the milestone of making the last frame.
Well done, I really like the frame lamination edit.

I'm hoping that the general interest will increase soon when the boat starts to get some shape! 🙂
Maybe I should getting into making keels! 😅
you never fail to impress .... can't wait to see the backbone
Great news about completing the frames, I will enjoy your work another great season to come.....Thanks :)
Nice set up to do the laminations. I hope you can apply it further in the build so the system doesn't go to waste. Exciting times ahead👍
Thanks! Yes, there’s still deck beams and profiles around the cabin to do. But that’s gonna be much later 😊
Congrats on the milestone!
Congrats on the frames :-), keep going I want to see a finished boat!
I as mixed some epoxy this afternoon and waited for it to kick, I thought of your project. The algorithms heard me 😃

@@ArcticSeaCamel needless to say I'm really enjoying the content. Thank you for documenting the process, it's extremely interesting. 👍🏼

Supperhienoa, ja todella hienosti tehty video
Bravo magnifique construction et parfaite. maitrise. du processus
You could probably earn money making custom shape gluelam beams for furniture or interior architecture.
😆 They would be tremendously expensive! 😆
@@ArcticSeaCamel but dimensionally accurate
Is it worth making hexagonal pockets for the M12 nuts ? I really enjoy your videos and the way you tackle jobs , well planned !
There’s really not much difference with just round pocket. CNC handles is automatically. 😉
exiting times. do we get the next episode on x-mas ? It's turning out quit nice ! Thank You
Hoping so!
Lithium batteries do not do well in a cold environment heaters have to be installed along with them to keep them healthy.
Yes that’s true. Luckily the season doesn’t really extend to freezing times that much. This time I got the boat up before winter! 🥳🤪

I got the drill fixed for warranty in couple of days. So now I actually have three drills! :)
