You forgot to mention one little detail. The limit for upload is 50 Mb, which makes it about only 2 minutes. I guess today people find it useful for TikTok. Most of my stuff is longer. I guess I will have to make shorter vids, at least some of them.
Great video ... but any video editor allows you to add text BEFORE uploading ... remember your video is not a youtube video .... until it' s uploaded to youtube ... so how do you add text to a youtube video? ... you know, once a video is uploaded to youtube? That's the challenge as youtube used to allow us to do that ... then it appears they removed the feature or hid is somewhere? ... Looks like the only way is to use Subtitles ... just found that ... thanks.
I think I just need to play with the program. It looks simple but I don't want a transcription, rather I want words to come up at certain times. I just have to mess with it. Thanks, this was super helpful.

I tried Veed automatic subtitles but it's more work to correct it than typing each word my hand. It did not recognize 20% of the words, does not use punctuation and the sentences are mixing together.
I've been making let's plays on my channel, but I'm too shy and not confident enough to talk in them so there isn't any commentary in my videos. I'm thinking about just adding text to them
